Why This Matters

Despite a 1.2% occupancy rate drop from 2018 to 2019, Boston is seeing a flurry of new and repositioned hotel development around the city. This is all coming off the heels of Governor Baker signing a 5.7% hotel tax on short-term rentals in late December. Towns and cities are allowed to add additional taxes which has already happened in parts of the Greater Boston region.

How will the traditional hotel players compete with the rise of home-sharing demand and what are the reasons why certain hotels are being developer in particular neighborhoods? Find out at Bisnow's Boston Hotel Summit!

As always, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with industry leaders and learn from top executives. We look forward to seeing you there! Questions? Comments? Contact John, our Northeast Event Producer, at john.whitney@bisnow.com
