Prior to joining Greenberg Gibbons, he was a Partner and member of the management committee of Fedder and Garten, P.A., a Baltimore, Maryland law firm. Mr. Gibbons earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on the boards of Sinai Hospital, Hospice of the Chesapeake, and the University of Maryland at Baltimore.

In 2013, Mr. Gibbons received the Distinguished Citizens Award from the Boy Scouts of America’s Baltimore Chapter for exemplifying strong community leadership and personal integrity. Most recently, he was named to the State of Maryland’s Private Sector Economic Development Commission, a group formed to recommend strategies to help map the future growth of Maryland’s economy.

Timothy Hogan

Timothy Hogan is a 20-year veteran of the real estate industry, with specialized experience in financing, acquisition and disposition, and the redevelopment and repositioning of land assets. Founded in 1985, Hogan celebrated its 30th year in business in 2015, and is known as the pre-eminent land consulting, advisory, and brokerage firm in the State of Maryland.

In addition to his responsibilities as President, Mr. Hogan manages Hogan’s land investment platform where Hogan acquires and develops for its own account and on behalf of its investors. Mr. Hogan supervises all land transactions, land acquisition and assemblage, supervision of zoning and entitlements, engineering and permitting, and budget management. His many land development projects span several real estate sectors to include residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed use, as well as affordable housing. Hogan acts as development manager on approximately 50 real estate development projects across 9 different jurisdictions in the Washington DC metro area and one residential PUD in the Carolinas.

Mr. Hogan holds a B.S. in Finance from the RH Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland College Park where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was nominated as the Commencement Speaker. He is an active member of the Economic Club of Washington, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Hogan has been with Hogan since 1999. Prior to joining the Hogan, Mr. Hogan worked with Rodgers Consulting in Montgomery County, Maryland and Ridgecrest Investments in Frederick, Maryland.

James Lighthizer is the Founder and Managing Partner of Chesapeake Real Estate Group, LLC (CREG), a leading full-service commercial real estate investment and development firm headquartered in the Baltimore-Washington region. Since founding the firm in 2004, Mr. Lighthizer has led CREG through the acquisition, development, and asset management of more than 45 properties totaling over 8 million square feet of industrial, office, self-storage, and retail space across the Mid-Atlantic. Under his leadership, CREG has built a reputation for executing a disciplined investment strategy focused on value-add, build-to-core, and speculative development opportunities.

Mr. Lighthizer brings more than 37 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to founding CREG, he spent 16 years at CBRE, where he rose to the rank of Senior Vice President and Partner and was consistently among the firm's top producers nationally. During his tenure, he advised institutional clients such as RREEF, Ohio Teachers, Invesco, Opus, First Industrial, and LaSalle Advisors. He was also a recognized leader within CBRE’s National Global Logistics Practice Group, representing major occupiers across the country.

At CREG, Mr. Lighthizer has spearheaded some of the region’s most significant industrial transactions. Notable highlights include acquiring and developing Brandon Woods 3, a 1 million square foot ecommerce project occupied by Amazon and Best Buy. Port 95 Logistics, a 1 million square foot development at the Port, converting a 600,000 sf Unilever manufacturing facility. Baltimore Crossroads @95, a 240-acre business park with 1.5 million square feet of planned development. His brokerage business from CBRE carried over with his representing General Motors in the $33 million sale of its 182-acre Baltimore Van Assembly Plant to Duke Realty and he also played a pivotal role in GM’s acquisition of land in White Marsh, Maryland, for its 800,000 square-foot Allison Transmission Plant.

Throughout CREG’s history, Mr. Lighthizer has forged strategic capital partnerships with premier institutions including The Carlyle Group, USAA, Prudential Real Estate Investors, EverWest Investors, TA Advisors, Atapco Properties, and others. These relationships have been instrumental in growing the firm’s portfolio and expanding its presence along the I-95 and I-81 corridors in Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia.

Mr. Lighthizer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount St. Mary’s College (Class of 1988) and completed formal sales and corporate service training with CBRE/USC. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he is a graduate of Gilmour Academy.

Steve Wolf

Steve Wolf handles a large number of audit and review engagements and is also

involved with providing tax compliance and strategic planning for clients of the

firm. He is knowledgeable in a wide variety of industries, with a concentration

in real estate, government contractors, restaurants and franchisor businesses.

Outside of work, Steve is very involved in community service, as a board

member and volunteer for multiple organizations. You can find him on the ice

every Saturday morning between October and March, serving as a mentor and

coach with Baltimore Area Special Hockey, an ice hockey program for both

children and adults with a traumatic brain injury or intellectual disability such as

Autism and Downs Syndrome.

As Director of Finance and Administration for Baltimore Public Markets Corporation and Lexington

Market, Incorporated, Bennice Thayer functions as the finance and operating officer of two sister non-

profit entities. Under her leadership the organizations have combined organizational structures into a

holistic unit that serves as the oldest and largest continuously operating public market system in the

United States. She oversees all operations which encompass finance, accounting, information

technology, human resources, security, maintenance and custodial, tenant and customer support

services, and parking. She is responsible for administering Lexington Market's $40 million

redevelopment project and $10 million in redevelopment projects for Baltimore Public Markets. Prior to

joining the Markets, she served as the finance director for the World Wide Web Foundation, an

international non-profit, under Tim Berners Lee, the founder of the Internet. Her career spans multiple

industries including not-for-profit, retail, supplementary educational services, and high technology.

Thayer is an active volunteer for the St. Vincent De Paul Society food banks and homeless shelters. She

holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and

Mechanical University, and certificates in Project Leadership and Project Management from Cornell

University.

Alicia Wilson

Johns Hopkins University & Health Systems

Alicia Wilson is the vice president for economic development at the Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System. She leads a core team driving Johns Hopkins’ strategy and initiatives as an anchor institution in and around Baltimore, and elevating and expanding the institutions commitment to the city through investments in economic and neighborhood development, health care, and education.

Prior to joining Hopkins, she served as the senior vice president of impact investments and senior legal counsel for the Port Covington Development Team, where she was instrumental in securing a $660 million TIF for the $5.5 billion redevelopment. Wilson also held a partnership position at the law firm of Gordon Feinblatt for eight years.

Wilson actively works with charitable organizations and was recently elected chair of the CollegeBound Foundation and, as such, is the first African American and youngest board chair in the 30-year history of the organization.

She holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a juris doctor from the University of Maryland Francis Key Carey School of Law.

Bill Struever

Bill Struever is a visionary real estate pioneer who has spent his entire

career finding creative ways to re-imagine urban properties. He has

extensive experience in developing and evaluating economics of real

estate transactions and ROI, preparing and evaluating financial proforma,

public private partnerships, and funding and investment strategies. At

Cross Street Partners, Mr. Struever is responsible for the company’s new

business pipeline for real estate development and tax credit consulting

services, sustainable construction practices, and strengthening public/

private relationships.

In 1974 Mr. Struever founded a company that would become Struever

Bros. Eccles & Rouse (SBER). The nationally-acclaimed development,

construction and property management company’s legacy was to

adapt and reuse economically obsolete industrial buildings and reclaim

under-productive urban brownfields. Struever has played a key role in

sustainable development through his passion, creativity and commitment

to rebuilding cities.

In 2010 Mr. Struever wound down the operations of SBER and formed

a new partnership with former executives, Cross Street Partners. Cross

Street Partners has built on the legacy of SBER with a fresh focus on

revitalizing urban neighborhoods around centers of innovation and

entrepreneurship.

Bill Struever was the driving force behind community revitalization efforts

that bolstered entire neighborhoods and extended beyond individual

projects. Struever played a key role in sustainable development through

his passion, creativity and commitment to rebuilding cities. His vision is

to lead the country in Green urban revitalization, setting new LEED

certified standards for all new projects.

Mr. Struever has received numerous awards for his business leadership

and devotion to urban communities, education, the environment, and

arts. Recently, he accepted the prestigious Urban Land Institutes’s Award

of Excellence for the preservation and redevelopment of Clipper Mill in

Baltimore, Maryland.

Dan Flamholz is the co-founder of Greenspring Realty Partners which is a vertically integrated real estate investment company. Dan focuses on industrial acquisitions and development work up and down the east coast and handles all aspects of his company's day to day operations.

Steven Siegel

Steven Siegel is a partner at Weller Development Company. He has over 20 years of development, finance, and public policy experience with expertise in executing public-private development transactions and financings.

Prior to joining Weller Development, Mr. Siegel served as a senior advisor at Sagamore Development Company before joining the company full-time. As executive vice president, Mr. Siegel led the execution of the Port Covington project by overseeing the master planning and entitlement, public and private financing, strategic planning and communications, and policy and lobbying teams.

Previously, Mr. Siegel was founder and president of Davey Street Partners, a real estate development and advisory firm focused on public-private projects in the Washington metropolitan area. Prior to Davey Street Partners, Mr. Siegel served as Director of Development in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development in Washington, D.C. where he managed D.C.’s $13 billion, public-private real estate development portfolio.

Mr. Siegel also served as Vice President of Acquisitions for a Mid-Atlantic multi-family developer where he led the pursuit, acquisition, financing, and development of over 1,000 multi-family residential market rate units.

Amy M. McClain represents housing authorities and affordable housing developers in the context of mixed-finance transactions. She is the Chair of the firm's Real Estate Department. Amy closes affordable housing transactions involving a variety of funding sources, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, the Rental Assistance Demonstration program, public housing and Section 8 funding sources, HUD-insured loans, tax-exempt bonds, state housing finance agency loan funds, and conventional financing. These transactions have provided her with the opportunity to negotiate issues among the financing parties, housing authorities, and developers while also coordinating various U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development review and approval processes. Amy also addresses traditional real estate issues intertwined with affordable housing development.
