Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GroundFloor. Prior to forming GroundFloor in 2009, Mr. Bolin

practiced law at Jackson Walker L.L.P. as a Land Use Associate. While there, Mr. Bolin worked with some

of the top development companies in Dallas-Fort Worth on land development, zoning and public incentive

matters. During law school, Mr. Bolin worked with the in-house counsel of Hillwood Capital on the $2

billion Victory Park Project, and with Harvest Partners on the $750 million Park Lane Project. After law

school, he took a position in acquisitions with INCAP Fund assisting with the River District land assembly

in the North Oak Cliff area of Dallas. Mr. Bolin is a graduate of the Dedman School of Law at Southern

Methodist University where he was inducted as a Barrister and received the John F. Kennedy award given

annually to two of the top graduating law students. Mr. Bolin is a graduate of The City College of New York,

graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Al Sorrels joined Majestic Realty Co. in 2005 as Vice President, Director of Development and is responsible for identifying and pursuing land acquisitions, development opportunities and leasing in the Texas marketplace.

Al has worked in the Dallas industrial market for more than 20 years, including affiliations with Panattoni Development and Trammell Crow Company. During that time, he has been instrumental in the development and leasing of more than 10 million square feet of property.

Al serves on the Board of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and holds affiliations with the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors & Real Estate Professionals (NTCAR) and The Real Estate Council (TREC).

A graduate of Southern Methodist University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance and M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance.

Mike Celkis

Mike Celkis is a partner with the Firm’s tax practice. Based in the Austin office, Mike is responsible for providing domestic tax, financial accounting, and tax consulting services to individuals, corporations, and partnerships in many different industries. He is also responsible for planning and tax compliance reviews for partnerships and corporations with a focus on low-income housing tax credit projects and real estate developers.

Mike has broad knowledge of, and experience in, international tax, energy tax credit services, multifamily and commercial real estate, and carryover allocations and is the firm expert on the Texas Franchise Tax and Section 199 (domestic manufacturing deduction). His clients include not-for-profit housing organizations and experienced developers across the United States. His duties include the planning, supervision and review of tax compliance matters for a substantial number of the Austin office's individual, partnership and corporate tax clients.

Mr. Redd is our Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director for the Austin and Metro DC regions with responsibility for the leasing and marketing, asset management, evaluation of building and land acquisitions and dispositions, third party services and property management of a diversified portfolio consisting of urban and suburban high-rise and mid-rise properties. He joined Brandywine in 1999 as Vice President of our Richmond operations. Formerly, Mr. Redd was a partner from 1988 until 1999 with Childress Klein Properties, a privately-held real estate firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. From 1985 until 1988, he was with the Trammell Crow Company.

In Austin, Mr. Redd serves on the Board of Directors of the Hill Country Conservancy, the Opportunity Austin Economic Development Council, and is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) and ULI Austin. He is also a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Real Estate Circle of Excellence, Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), and Richmond Real Estate Group. Mr. Redd earned his law degree from the University of Virginia, and a B.A. degree from Hampden-Sydney College.

Responsible for implementing all acquisition, development, leasing and management for HPI’s office division, including over 2.8 million square feet of office space that HPI represents. Sam brings over twenty five years of real estate experience to HPI. Prior to joining HPI in 1995, Sam served as project leasing director for Charter Companies in Austin. For more than 4 years he worked as a leasing agent for Capital Associates in Raleigh, N.C. and was a broker at Cushman & Wakefield’s Raleigh office from 1987 to 1989. His first job after graduating Baylor University was in Dallas, where he was a broker for Clarke and Company.

Helen Jobes, CCIM, specializes in the sale and leasing of office, retail, and industrial property as well as investment sales in Central Texas, San Antonio, Houston and the Rio Grande Valley. During her 38-year career, Jobes has leased over 800,000 square feet of office space and sold more than 4.419 million square feet of commercial real estate, including office, office/warehouse projects, apartments, retail centers and land. Though skilled in all property types, Jobes focuses primarily on office investments and leasing.

Jobes served as the investment sales broker at Trammell Crow (now CBRE) and was principal and founder of Gold Eagle Investments for ten years. She served as the Regional Director of Marketing and Investment Sales for Kennedy Wilson three years and is currently a partner with Capella Commercial LLC.

Jobes served on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Council of Austin for eleven years, which is a 2,200 member organization comprised of business and real estate professionals. She is currently a member and has also served on the Board and as past president of the Austin Commercial Real Estate Society, and is a member of the Central Texas Commercial Brokers Association, ULI and NAIOP of Austin.

In 2009, Jobes was introduced to the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC) and along with the Mayor of Austin, the Chamber of Commerce and Opportunity Austin hosted a delegation of 30 investors who came to the United States to learn about investing in commercial real estate. In 2010, Jobes was a guest speaker at the 2010 International Forum of 50+ Communities held in Sanya, Hainan, China.

As a co-leader of the JLL Austin Agency Leasing team, Kevin Kimbrough’s primary role is to market and lease office properties on behalf of both local and Institutional owners / REIT’s .

Kevin currently leases Class A office and office/flex product in Austin and

the surrounding submarkets. Kevin began his real estate career in 1999 asDirector of Research at Cushman & Wakefield/Oxford Commercial, thus providing him an intimate knowledge of the Austin office market, which allows him a unique ability to find and negotiate the best deals for his clients. At Cushman & Wakefield/Oxford Commercial, Kevin was one of the firm’s top 3 producers between 2010-2014 and the #1 Top Producer in 2013. Joining JLL in 2014, Kevin was a Gold Achiever in 2016 & 2017 and a Top Gun in 2018. Kevin graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a Bachelor of Arts. He is on the Loop 360 Transportation Steering Committee for TxDOT and is a past ULI Young Leader Mentor, and former Board Member of Commercial Brokers Association of Austin (CBA).

He is recognized as a leader in the private sector for his ability to cultivate lasting relationships and seamlessly guide stakeholders through the land acquisition, due diligence and commercial development processes. Nick’s extensive knowledge of the industry, combined with professional experience in land development and acquisition, allows him to fully grasp the unique needs and challenges facing his clients, regardless of market or market sector. Whether he’s working with local, national or international clients, Nick leverages this holistic understanding to strategically approach opportunities, tailor counsel, enable resources and effectively navigate the development landscape of each project. Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California (USC) and is a past Chair of the Real Estate Council of Austin and a current board member of the Downtown Austin Alliance.

"Ms. Ryan has been with Jones|Carter since 2002 and has been providing project management and design services for both public and private clients in Austin for over 16 years. Ms. Ryan has prepared construction plans, specifications, draft project documents and reports and performed QA/QC for numerous projects. Her site development project experience includes preparation of street and drainage and infrastructure construction plans and specifications for numerous large site development projects, permit application and approvals for projects from local, county, and state agencies, team building and coordination with other design professionals to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and her clients’ goals are achieved.
