Gene has served as Chief Executive Officer since February 2014, president since May 2013 and as a member of our board of directors since November 2013.

Gene has more than 30 years of experience delivering results in high-growth technology companies, with a particular emphasis on SaaS applications. He most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Convio, Inc., where he was the driving force behind the company's success that led to an IPO and eventual sale to Blackbaud, Inc. in May 2012.

Prior to Convio, Gene was BMC Software's vice president and general manager of Enterprise Data Management and previously worked at Dell as vice president and general manager of Internet Servers. He also served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Careerbuilder.com, where he contributed significantly to growth leading to a 1999 public offering.

Gene holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in engineering management from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Gene also serves on the board of directors of Abila, Inc. and OutboundEngine. He is active in the Austin, Texas, community as the chair-elect for KIPP Austin Public Schools and was the 2015 chairman of the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

In his tenure in Austin, he has been engaged with many of Austin’s most notable office projects, from small start-ups, legal and professional service workspaces, to multi-story global headquarters. Joe drives the creative process towards inventive, implementable design solutions and measures success in client satisfaction, quality of a unique design product, use of innovation, meeting living design objectives, and fostering team professionalism and collaboration. Jamie Hodari has executive responsibility for CBRE’s Building Operations & Experience (BOE) business segment, which unifies building operations, workplace experience and property management, positioning CBRE to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions for offices, data centers, warehouses and other facilities.

BOE consists of CBRE’s Enterprise Facilities Management, Local Facilities Management and Property Management business lines and Industrious, CBRE’s wholly owned flexible workplace subsidiary. This segment produced approximately $20 billion of combined revenue, including Industrious, in 2024 and comprises CBRE’s entire 7+ billion sq. ft. global property and corporate facilities management portfolio.

As CBRE’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Hodari also has responsibility for marketing and branding activities across all CBRE businesses.

Jamie Hodari is also Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Industrious, the flexible workplace industry's largest premium provider, with more than 200 locations in over 65 global markets.

Mr. Hodari co-founded Industrious in 2012 and has served as Chief Executive Officer since its inception. Under his leadership, Industrious has expanded its global footprint and redefined how companies manage their workplace. The company was named one of America’s fastest-growing companies by Inc. Magazine in both 2020 and 2024.

Prior to Industrious, Mr. Hodari served as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kepler, which pioneered a lower-cost, high-performing university model in East Africa. Earlier in his career, he was an investor at Birch Run Capital, a corporate attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell, and a reporter for the Times of India.

In 2024, the Commercial Observer named Mr. Hodari to its Power 100 list and Thesis Driven named Mr. Hodari #3 on its list of the 100 most innovative people in real estate. Mr. Hodari holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, an M.P.P. from Harvard University, and a B.A. from Columbia University.

Jonathan Tate

Endeavor Principal Jonathan Tate oversees brokerage activities in the company’s Office and Industrial Division. He is responsible for marketing operations, lease negotiations, asset valuations, investment sales and identifying opportunities for investment, development or divestiture on behalf of Endeavor and its clients.

Relevant Experience

Jonathan has been recognized as a “Heavy Hitter” by the Austin Business Journal in each of his years in the brokerage industry and has earned a spot among the top three Austin office brokers (ranked by total production) on multiple occasions. He has worked with some of the industry’s most respected institutional owners, such as TIER REIT, Shorenstein, RREEF, IBC Bank, Lionstone, Clarion and MetLife. Jonathan has completed major lease transactions with companies including Amazon, Facebook, Time Warner, Fidelity, State Street Bank, Adobe, Expedia and Chase Bank, among many others.

Prior to joining Endeavor in 2007, Jonathan worked for Trammell Crow Company in Austin and San Antonio, where he was active in leasing and brokerage, as well as serving as a financial analyst.

Adam has 15-years of commercial building experience, and serves as Senior Project Manager for DPR Construction’s SSG (Special Services Group) projects in Austin. He has vast experience as a construction manager overseeing completion of over 2 million square feet of office space, valued at over $110 million. He has a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a reputation of client-focused decision making.

Adam is skilled in pre-construction services, team building, and operational management with a track record of high quality projects delivered on time resulting in exemplary customer satisfaction. A service-focused approach has allowed Adam to serve an integral role in DPR's growth and diversification throughout Texas.

Adam is active in a number of community organizations including LifeWorks, Dell Children’s Hospital, and the Violet Crown Trail with Hill Country Conservancy.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Bret Hall is the Division Manager for Swinerton in Austin, where he leads Swinerton’s efforts involving commercial real estate service firms, developers, and corporate end users on their tenant finish needs. Bret has provided professional construction services for more than 20 years, interacting with the design teams, clients, owner’s representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and real estate professionals. He demonstrates his outstanding and thoughtful managerial skills on a variety of projects from the management of the design process through project completion. Bret is driven to meet the different challenges on any project, and to come away with lasting relationships with the client and project team. He maintains executive-level relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that Swinerton receives the “A” team and service from the marketplace. Leveraging these relationships benefits our clients’ projects tremendously in terms of schedule, cost and quality.
