David H. Steinwedell is a 35 year veteran of the commercial real

estate industry and has worked in a variety of disciplines including

public and private investment management, acquisitions, debt, capital

markets, investment banking and asset management.  David is CEO of

Affordable Central Texas the sponsor and investment manager of the

Austin Housing Conservancy Fund in Austin, TX. Over his career,

David has completed over $15 billion in transactions across all

property types and as part of private equity funds, REITs and other

investment vehicles. A graduate of Hamilton College, David has

served on the boards of National Association of Real Estate

Investment Managers (NAREIM), ULI Austin and Atlanta, The Trust

for Public Land and the Tritt Foundation.

Rosie Truelove currently serves as the Director of the City of Austin’s Housing and

Planning Department. The Housing and Planning Department was formed in 2020 with

the merger of the Planning and Zoning Department and the Neighborhood Housing and

Community Development Department. The Housing and Planning Department

integrates comprehensive planning, zoning, and displacement prevention activities, as

well as affordable housing program delivery – all of which are central to community and

council priorities.

Prior to her role in Housing and Planning, Rosie served as the Director of Neighborhood

Housing and Community Development (NHCD) for four years. NHCD was responsible for

the development and incentivizing of affordable housing in Austin, as well as community

development services to benefit eligible residents, so they can have access to livable

neighborhoods and increase their opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Rosie worked in the capital project delivery arena for 14 years and served as the Capital

Contracting Officer for seven of those years. The Capital Contracting Office has the

delegated authority and responsibility for procurement and contracting services related

to the City’s Capital Improvement Program.

Rosie began her career at the City of Austin 24 years ago, working in the information

technology department. From there, she moved to the City Manager’s office where she

served as an Executive Assistant to the Deputy City Manager and City Manager.

She has a Master in Public Affairs from the LBJ School at the University of Texas and

undergraduate degree in Government.

Rosie is a co-founder of Woman-to-Woman, an employee affinity group for women at

the City of Austin. She serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Blodgett

Fellows in Urban Management – a non-profit formed to promote the profession of Local

Government in graduate education. Rosie is also active in her children’s schools and

sports clubs – often spending her weekends at swim meets. She lives in Southwest

Austin with her husband and their two sons and their miniature Australian Shepherds,

Kerbey and Chuy.

Megan Lasch, owner, and principal of O-SDA Industries, has more than 15 years of

experience in the affordable housing industry. Megan is a long-term developer/

owner/operator of affordable housing. Megan has a background in engineering, project

management, real estate analysis, and design and has financed and closed more than

$1B over 43 developments in Texas. Megan received her Bachelor’s degree in

Biosystems Engineering from Oklahoma State University. She began her career as a

civil engineer , where she helped design a variety of public and private development

projects before starting her land development firm in 2010.

Megan was recognized as a finalist in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction

category of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 Austin Under 40 Awards, which celebrates

Austin’s most accomplished and influential emerging professionals who are making an

impact in the community. In 2020, Megan was also recognized in Austin Business

Journal Woman in Power Profiles. Megan is an active member of the Texas Affiliation

of Affordable Housing Providers. In addition, she has served as board chair for

Skillpoint Alliance and served as the Mayors appointee for the City of Austin 2024

Charter Commission. Megan is a board member of the Real Estate Council of Austin for

2023-2025 and serves as the Policy Vice Chair. Megan and her husband Josh have two

children, Beckett and Naomi.

Nicole Joslin has a diverse professional and academic background in architecture, development,

disaster recovery, and community engagement. Nicole is a visiting researcher at the University

of Texas and serves as the Executive Director of the Austin Community Design and Development

Center, which works to improve the quality of life for all through community-engaged design.

Nicole is also chair of the Austin Housing Coalition and board member of Evolve Austin Partners,

two coalitions of affordable housing providers and grassroots organizations supporting the

development of an affordable, mobile, and sustainable Austin.

Michael Wilt is the External Relations Manager for the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation. In this role, he leads the organization’s government, community, media and peer organization relations activities. His more than ten years of affordable housing and commercial real estate policy expertise include overseeing government relations for a prominent real estate organization, working in both chambers of the Texas Legislature and for the former Mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom.

Michael sits on the Urban Land Institute - Austin Advisory Board, the Executive Committee of the Austin Housing Coalition, and the Board of the Chestnut Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation. He serves son multiple statewide councils and workgroups focused primarily on the intersection of housing and health. He holds a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a B.A. in Government and Latin from the University of Texas at Austin.

Endeavor Principal Nelson Crowe is responsible for leading the

company’s multifamily acquisition and development team, overseeing

site selection, entitlements, design, consultant coordination, construction,

project capitalization and asset management.

Currently, Nelson is working on the development of multifamily and mixed-use projects in Austin,

Nashville, Dallas Fort Worth, Salt Lake City and Denver totaling 13,000 units and nearly $3 billion in total

capitalization.

Prior to joining Endeavor in 2016, Nelson spent eight years at Forestar Group, where he served as Vice

President of Multifamily. In 2010, he was a founding member of the organization’s multifamily group,

which developed and/or managed more than 4,000 units in Nashville, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Charlotte

and Houston, with a total capitalization of $600 million.

Nelson previously worked for Crow Holdings, a private equity firm that focuses on direct real estate

investment through equity funds for the Trammell Crow family and its capital partners. While there, he

worked on the capital placement of an $850 million equity fund.

Matteo Pacifici serves as Principal for TCC and is responsible for sourcing and executing new residential and mixed-use development opportunities for the Austin office across Central Texas. Since joining TCC in 2016, Matteo has been directly involved in completed and ongoing developments totaling over 5.3 million square feet, with total project costs in excess of $2.0 billion, including developing over 2,300 residential units for High Street Residential, TCC’s residential subsidiary. In his current role, Matteo oversees every aspect of the development process including entitlement, design, financing, construction, asset management and disposition activities. Prior to joining TCC, Matteo served as an analyst and associate at Wells Fargo Securities, where he jointly managed a $10 billion fixed-income derivative portfolio, and structured interest rate and currency hedging solutions for middle market corporations and institutional real estate clients.

Michael brings a multi-disciplinary approach to leading Stay Alfred’s Real Estate team. His background as

a data scientist allows him to assess transactions from a variety of perspectives which has been integral

to the company’s national growth initiative. Prior to Stay Alfred, he started a non-profit to help create

soccer fields in Portland and set up a 501c6 for the Timbers. A true renaissance man, he’s also a

Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Michael obtained his undergraduate in Finance and Economics

and earned an MBA at Babson College.

Will Mitchell is the co-founder and CEO of Rabbet, formerly known

as Contract Simply. After spending more than a decade in

commercial real estate, Will recognized the need to strengthen

connections between developers, lenders and contractors,

streamline operations and maintain critical project timelines. In

Rabbet, Will is pioneering the connected construction economy

with the only platform that intelligently connects relevant

information for frictionless construction transactions.

Prior to founding Rabbet, Will was the co-founder and CEO of

Renovate Simply, a data-driven web and mobile marketplace for

home renovations. Originally from Denver, he completed his

undergraduate studies in architecture and structural engineering

from the University of Virginia. Will also earned his Masters of

Business Administration (MBA), with a focus in entrepreneurship, at

the University of Texas in Austin.
