Van Barry is a tennis executive and retired ATP Tour Tournament Director. Barry is the current Executive

Director of the United States Tennis Association Texas, which is the governing body that oversees tennis

throughout the state.

His extensive career in tennis, performance and sports management has led him across the country and

throughout the world to follow/understand the critical dynamic of delivering undeniable experiences. To

that end, USTA Texas’ partnership in the extraordinary project being developed at Indigo Ridge will

reshape delivery structure of tennis, business, performance, and entertainment. Through the

intersection of training, technology, and media, the coming evolution of performance is at hand.

Van is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Management and holds a Master

Professional certification with the US Pro Tennis Association.

Ben White joined the City of Cedar Park as Director of Economic Development in October 2018. As Director of Economic Development, he is responsible for leading the City of Cedar Park’s Economic Development program based on the City Council vision and goals for creating job growth and attracting and retaining businesses in Cedar Park.

White has more than 18 years of experience in the field of economic development. He currently serves as the President of the Williamson County Economic Development Partnership and on the Board of Directors of the Central Texas Foreign Trade Zone. He was named by Consultant Connect among its Top 50 Economic Developers for 2017. Prior to joining the City of Cedar Park, White served as Vice President of Economic Development for the Round Rock Chamber for nearly eight years. There White and his team announced or completed more than 50 projects totaling more than $1B and 8,000 jobs in sectors including high tech, medical manufacturing, bioscience, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, high tech manufacturing, information technology, higher education, and distribution, as well as destination projects. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas.

White sees Cedar Park as the next job center for the region because of its demographics and location – lending themselves well to corporate headquarters, the high tech industry and advance manufacturers. White has a proactive approach and high level of enthusiasm when it comes to recruiting businesses to come to Cedar Park.

White, a devout KU Basketball fan, lives in the area and enjoys watching every game with his wife and three children.

Mike Kennedy is a Principal with Avison Young and a Principal with Altera Development, providing innovation and leadership in land brokerage, strategic analysis and development. Mike blends his unique background in real estate and architecture to create unique, financeable real estate and development and brokerage solutions. Recent activity includes brokerage and advisory services on the 160 acre Indigo Ridge Mixed Use Development in Cedar Park, sale of the 100 acre Collin Creek Mall property in Plano, and development of the Marriott Delta Hotel and Convention Center in Allen. Mike received his Masters Degree in American Urbanism from The University of Virginia.

Sarajane (“SJ”) joined Unico in 2017 and is responsible for executing asset strategies and growing Unico’s Denver and Austin portfolio. Prior to joining Unico, she was Vice President of the agency leasing team at JLL and brings nine years of office brokerage expertise in Denver to her portfolio.

Shea Johnson, has over 20 years of business development, communication, marketing, and project management experience in both the private and public sectors. Holding a BS in Business Administration from George Mason University, Shea is a 10-year U.S. Navy veteran and has dedicated years of his career to roles in the Pentagon, on Capitol Hill, and for the White House. In his position of Director of Business Development, Shea will apply his extensive experience with Business Development, A/E/C Industry and Healthcare Legislation, and Healthcare Construction including Design-Build, Construction Manager-at Risk (CMAR) and Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects. Shea is active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for Crosspoint Inc., President-Elect for the Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP) San Antonio Chapter, and Placemaking Council for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) San Antonio Chapter.

Todd Runkle brings more than 25 years of professional design experience to the leadership of Gensler's Austin office.

Todd has led a wide variety of project types from large-scale master planning and architectural, multi facility complexes to high-end executive offices. His design and management skills are reflected in his diverse portfolio of innovative and award-winning commercial projects.

In addition to his experience at Gensler, he was a founding member of a widely respected interior architecture boutique firm, with a wide variety of award-winning projects around the country. Todd is recognized for his focus on serving his client's best interests. His keen abilities to work with brokers in analyzing real estate options and work with clients in finding creative design solutions are hallmarks of many of his successful projects.

What drives you?

I strive to be the best, and I want the same for the company we’re building.

I want Cielo to deliver the highest level of customer service, the most well planned spaces a tenant could imagine, and the highest risk adjusted returns to our investors. If we do that — and I can also be the best husband and dad I can possibly be — then I can go to sleep at night knowing I didn’t leave anything on the table.

How do you envision Austin in the next 25 years?

I expect that Austin will continue to be one of the most sought after places in the country for people to live and work 25 year from now. This means our population could triple in that time, creating many challenges and opportunities. I believe that our urban core must continue to increase in density with more high-rise and mid-rise developments, just as we’ve seen over the last five years. The alternative is much more traffic and sprawl to the detriment of our environment and quality of life.

How did you start the company?

Bobby and I share Texas roots and were introduced by a mutual friend. I liked his vision and creative energy immediately. Two months later, we formed our company and bootstrapped it from there.

Why Austin?

Austin is one of the best cities in the world without a doubt. It appeals to people of all ages and just has so much going for it. We are the Capital of Texas, home of the University of Texas, soon to be home to a new medical school, the tech capital of the south, and the Live Music Capital of the World. Austin offers a beautiful natural environment and countless ways to enjoy it. It’s a business friendly city with a thriving restaurant scene. "Ms. Ryan has been with Jones|Carter since 2002 and has been providing project management and design services for both public and private clients in Austin for over 16 years. Ms. Ryan has prepared construction plans, specifications, draft project documents and reports and performed QA/QC for numerous projects. Her site development project experience includes preparation of street and drainage and infrastructure construction plans and specifications for numerous large site development projects, permit application and approvals for projects from local, county, and state agencies, team building and coordination with other design professionals to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and her clients’ goals are achieved.

Nick Moulinet leads DPR Construction’s Austin-based business development and client relationship efforts. He is recognized as a leader in the private sector for his ability to cultivate lasting relationships and seamlessly guide stakeholders through the land acquisition, due diligence and commercial development processes. Nick’s extensive knowledge of the industry, combined with professional experience in land development and acquisition, allows him to fully grasp the unique needs and challenges facing his clients, regardless of market or market sector. Whether he’s working with local, national or international clients, Nick leverages this holistic understanding to strategically approach opportunities, tailor counsel, enable resources and effectively navigate the development landscape of each project. Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California (USC) and is a past Chair of the Real Estate Council of Austin and a current board member of the Downtown Austin Alliance.

Steve Adler is Austin’s 52nd Mayor. His top priorities include mobility, affordability and equity for all Austinites. Adler has been elected a Vice President of the National Council of Democratic Mayors, a Trustee of the United States Conference of Mayors, and Chair of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) policy board.

Mayor Adler has received broad recognition for innovative leadership. Foreign Policy named him a Global reThinker and Living Cities included Mayor Adler on the list of 25 Disruptive Leaders (along with Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and author Ta-Nehihi Coates) to mark that organization’s 25th anniversary.
