Shawn Martinez

Founder and CEO

FXfit

Shawn Martinez is the Founder and CEO of FXfit. His beautiful Canadian wife and 2 children live in the famous Austin, TX. For the past 7 years, Shawn has penetrated the multi-family fitness market and has become an innovator in fitness amenity strategy in the Southern U.S. (specifically Texas and Arizona). Austin Fitness Magazine has voted him best for several years in being an expert at what he does.

Shawn's goal and target is new development, although he does work in renovation projects.. The design layout and equipment choice of his fitness facility projects is his passion and niche, but what's given him the reputation in his current 18 locations, is the ability to provide full-time, onsite, personal trainers and group fitness classes. Providing onsite fitness options for residents 10 years ago was considered a luxury option, but today it's become a standard, especially in new development, and FXfit has ran with it.

With the strategy of building boutique studios, advanced training gyms, and providing onsite fitness management, Shawn has been able to assist developers with the ability to charge higher rents, have a tenant velocity tool, and a retention program all while building healthier communities. In some cases, he has even partnered with developers in turning the normally unproductive asset into a profit center, opening a new revenue stream for his clients.

Shawn believes in truly partnering with clients for long-term relationships and he demonstrates that through 100% organic growth of 1 location in Austin, TX to several areas in the U.S. and a team of over 30 fitness professionals committed in making people healthier and happier.
