Brett Ames is the founder and a managing member for Inspire Development. He currently manages Land Acquisition, Project Entitlement, Strategic Planning and is involved in all phases of development. Brett additionally is the President and CEO of Ames Design Build, one of Austin’s premier luxury builders. A resident of Austin, Brett has considerable experience in California and other areas in the greater Southwest USA.

With over 30 years of combined experience in land development, vertical, and horizontal construction of all types, Brett has a diverse background in all aspects of the Commercial Real Estate Industry. Brett began his Career in Commercial Construction working in San Diego for 10 years. He later started McCullough Ames Development which became one of San Diego’s elite Developer and Builder of high-end estate developments. He was also a managing partner in Passarelle LLC which developed several large Commercial projects including a master-planned campus development for Palomar College. He also worked in the master-planned mixed-use project of 750 single family lots with a Town Center and Office complex which is currently under construction with DR Horton. Brett has done over 20 projects together with the other partners of Inspire giving the team broad depth, experience, and diversity in its approach and reach in the real estate development industry.

Raised in a construction family, Brian Haulotte began work in high school as a laborer for a family-run

general contractor in Austin. Brian earned a Construction Science degree from Texas A&M University

and has spent his career as a general contractor in a wide range of roles working with project teams to

navigate the complexities of projects to yield best results.

Brian has lived and worked in Dallas, Houston, Miami, St. Louis and Austin - working on a wide array of

project types. Brian serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Austin, Skillpoint Alliance, the

Austin Scottish Rite Children’s Theatre, and the Scottish Rite Dyslexia Foundation.

Eric Herron joined Stream Realty Partners in 2014 and is the Managing Director of

Development and Construction for Stream Austin. Prior to joining Stream Realty, he

spent twelve years with Sixthriver Architects as Director of Architecture and for six

years prior as a Project Architect and Project Manager with two other architectural

firms in Austin. During his career, Eric has designed and overseen the design and

construction, from land acquisition through occupancy, of over 15 million SF of space

including ground-up construction and remodels of Class A office, industrial, retail,

multi-family, and student housing with work valued at over $750M.

Kristin brings over 15 years of construction

management expertise with a very diverse project

background. Having started her career working

as a laborer in the field, she understands the

construction process from start to finish, and

draws on that knowledge to plan and execute

projects in the most cost effective manner. She is

focused on building and managing strong teams

and providing the oversight and direction that

ensures that the project exceeds expectations.

As Vice President of Construction Operations,

Kristin is involved with and responsible for

every phase of a project from preconstruction

through completion and turnover. This

includes coordination of cost estimating,

budget preparation, design development,

preconstruction and construction activities as

well as subcontractor negotiation. An efficient

and thoughtful leader, Kristin is well respected

for her keen ability to bring the right people

together to solve problems. She has a proven

track record of successfully delivering complex

projects on time, developing strong relationships

with customers along the way.

Justin Stewart is the CEO and Owner of 8-time National Excellence in Construction Award winning Synergy, Inc, and industry disrupting Synergy Modular. Synergy has built over 10,000 units and countless commercial projects as a GC over the last three decades in the Pacific Northwest. In 2017, in response to a demand for predictability, Justin founded Synergy Modular, building projects at a fixed cost, in 30-50% less time.

Ken Mendez started in the built environment solutions in 1996, and has worked in several capacities in the Architecture & Design industry. Gaining expertise from a multitude of teams and manufacturers, he has served as a District Account Manager for both Kimball and Teknion, then moving on to Vice President of Sales for both Office Pavilion, and Workplace Solutions. For three years, Ken was the Regional Director for Knoll for the Houston Region. He currently utilizes his expertise in the multifamily market at Division Six and CORE Office Interiors in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. His bold approach puts people, process, and technology at the forefront of his go-to-market strategy. Ken excels at his job because of the care and growth he provides for his clients and employees to maximize their potential and ensure they each have the solutions and tools they need to succeed.

Endeavor Principal Shane Hesson focuses on office, retail and mixed-use development. In this role, he participates in all aspects of project entitlement, design, construction, leasing, financing, asset management, and disposition.

While at Endeavor, Shane has contributed to the development of projects with a total of more than 1,400,000 SF. These projects have covered a variety of asset classes, including mixed-use buildings, office buildings, apartments, student housing, and shopping centers.

Prior to being a Principal, Shane was a Development Associate and Vice President on the Development and Acquisitions team for seven years. Shane joined Endeavor in 2014 and in his initial role, was responsible for helping execute on the development of Domain NORTHSIDE, a 40-acre mixed use project within the Domain in north Austin. Since then, Shane has worked on a wide range of projects including The Lyndon at Springtown, Trinity at Left Bank, Whole Foods Market – East Block, Dry River District, and The View at Belterra.

Prior to joining Endeavor in 2014, Shane was an Analyst at Hines, a privately-owned real estate investment, development and management firm. At Hines, he focused primarily on supporting the team in the areas of office and multifamily acquisitions, development, and construction management.

Shane began his career in 2011 as an Assistant Project Manager at Harvey-Cleary Builders, where he provided estimating, preconstruction and project management services for multifamily, retail, office, and mixed-use projects.

Brad Stein leads Intracorp’s Texas region, operating out of Austin, Texas. With Brad’s experience, he is responsible for building and leading a multi-functional local team and overseeing Intracorp’s growth in Texas. Brad is well versed in real estate deal making and joint venture partnerships. Prior to joining Intracorp, as a VP with Forestar Group Inc. Brad managed Forestar’s real estate assets through investment and development of mixed use communities in Texas and other markets. Previously, Brad practiced as a real estate attorney in private practice and as in-house counsel for publicly traded companies, Forestar and Temple-Inland.

Gian Michael Piano is Principal at Presidium, where he leads the firm’s mixed-use development efforts and drives expansion across core asset classes. Since joining in 2016, Michael has played a central role in Presidium’s growth, delivering successful ground-up multifamily projects and spearheading its move into large-scale, integrated developments. His leadership has been critical to launching three landmark Austin-area projects—River Park, The Row, and The Pecan District. With deep experience in multifamily, mixed-use, entitlement, and land development in Central Texas, Michael is known for navigating complex entitlements, executing transformative transactions, and building high-performing teams to bring ambitious projects to life.

With 25 years under his belt, Ed Muth has become one of Gensler's most versatile managers and is a firmwide leader for corporate campuses. His vast experience includes corporate campuses, commercial office buildings, retail, financial, medical, and institutional clients. Ed spent several years dedicated to one of our most notable and complex projects, the ExxonMobil Campus Project. He brought strong organizational and collaborative skills as well as an ability to intuitively understand this client's goals and concerns, becoming a trusted advisor for them. As a result, Ed has become a specialist in corporate campuses and office buildings and is one of the top regional leaders in this project type.

Nick Moulinet leads DPR Construction’s Austin-based business development and client relationship efforts. He is recognized as a leader in the private sector for his ability to cultivate lasting relationships and seamlessly guide stakeholders through the land acquisition, due diligence and commercial development processes. Nick’s extensive knowledge of the industry, combined with professional experience in land development and acquisition, allows him to fully grasp the unique needs and challenges facing his clients, regardless of market or market sector. Whether he’s working with local, national or international clients, Nick leverages this holistic understanding to strategically approach opportunities, tailor counsel, enable resources and effectively navigate the development landscape of each project. Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California (USC) and is a past Chair of the Real Estate Council of Austin and a current board member of the Downtown Austin Alliance.
