Zach is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Pender Capital. Zach co-founded Pender in 2015 and brings over 16 years of experience in both commercial real estate finance and capital markets expertise. Zach oversees the firm’s Investment and Research program which includes deal sourcing, research, and structuring and is a member of the Investment and Research Committee and the Management Committee. Prior to Pender, Zach served as Managing Director/ Senior Vice President for Liberty SBF, a commercial finance company based in Philadelphia, where he was responsible for establishing Liberty’s Western Regional HQ in Los Angeles and directed West Coast originations and operations. Zach personally originated over $60 million of commercial loans during the first year of operations on the West Coast. In 2008, Zach joined Silver Point Capital, LP in New York, a Goldman Sachs partner fund, where he was responsible for commercial real estate loan originations and insurance-linked securities trading. During his tenure at Silver Point, Zach traded more than $500 million in distressed commercial real estate debt, insurance-linked securities, and assets in the capital markets. Mr. Kiltz also serves as a Member of the Stonelake Investment Committee having invested institutional capital for over 20-years. Prior to founding Stonelake, Mr. Kiltz was responsible for directing U.S. investments at Cypress Real Estate Advisors, a private equity firm in Austin, Texas. Mr. Kiltz was one of four Partners at Cypress and served on the four member investment committee. Prior to joining Cypress, Mr. Kiltz was the President of CCG Venture Partners, a private equity firm, where he headed acquisition and disposition activity, joint venture structuring and corporate governance establishment. From 1992-1997, Mr. Kiltz was Vice President of JMB/Heitman Financial, a large national pension fund advisor. While at JMB/Heitman Financial, he led acquisition activity in Texas and directed management operations. Prior to that, he was a Partner in the Houston office of Trammell Crow Company responsible for new industrial development and acquisitions. Mr. Kiltz received his undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin and his Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. Mr. Kiltz serves as a Board Member of Southwestern University and The Brookwood Community.

Jordan Featherston is an Associate for Institutional Property Advisors with a focus on private and institutional apartment transactions throughout the Austin and San Antonio markets.

He has closed over 7,000 units in the past three years, which equivalates to over $700 Million in multifamily investment transactions throughout the state. Currently, Jordan is brokering over $500 Million in multifamily assets in Central Texas alone.

Mr. Featherston is a graduate of Texas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. Prior to joining the IPA team, Jordan worked in various facets of the construction business including business development, project management, and sales. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas.

Michael W. Rollins, CCE, became President and CEO of the Greater Austin Chamber in December 2002, after a successful career leading Chambers of Commerce in Nashville TN, Asheville NC, Columbia SC, Fredericksburg VA and Hickory NC.

In 2004, Rollins started Opportunity Austin, a five year economic development initiative. Now in its 3rd five year plan, it has added 234,900 new jobs and $12 billion in payroll to Central Texas. More than $54 million has been raised from the private sector to fund Opportunity Austin which has lead more to than 250 companies relocating to Central Texas.

In addition to an aggressive business attraction program, Opportunity Austin includes Portfolio Austin, a business retention and expansion effort and the establishment of the Greater Austin Technology Partnership.

During Rollins’ tenure in Austin, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce membership has grown from 1,700 members to more than 3,100.

Rollins was President and CEO of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce from 1990 to 2002. In Nashville, Rollins led an $18 million organization serving 4,400 business members and developed economic and community development strategies that resulted in the attraction of more than 160 companies and the creation of approximately 190,000 new jobs. While there, he increased the Chamber’s operating revenues from $3.5 million to more than $18 million and raised more than $20 million from the private sector to fund economic and community development strategies.

Prior to that, Rollins was Executive Vice President and CEO of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce in North Carolina.

He also served as Senior Director and General Manager of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina and as Executive Vice President and CEO of the Fredericksburg (VA) Area Chamber of Commerce.

He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and management from the University of South Carolina and is a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE).

Adriana Cruz is the President of the Greater San Marcos Partnership, a regional economic development organization working for the City of San Marcos, Hays and Caldwell Counties, established to encourage and nurture economic growth in the heart of the Austin-San Antonio corridor. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in economic development and marketing at the state and regional level, she leads the organization’s efforts to diversify and strengthen the region’s economy through high quality jobs and investment by implementing a comprehensive multi-year economic development strategic plan. As part of this plan, she promotes the region across the U.S. and abroad.

Most recent accomplishments for GSMP under her leadership are the announcement of more than 2,300 new jobs and over $250 million in investment including Amazon’s newest fulfillment center, Best Buy’s first and only e-commerce sales operation in Texas, and EPIC Piping, the world’s largest pipe fabrication facility under one roof. Prior to assuming this role, Cruz was the Vice President of Global Corporate Recruitment for the Austin Chamber of Commerce where she was project lead in several high profile corporate relocations and expansions including Apple, Facebook, eBay, Hanger Orthopedic, Samsung and LegalZoom. Prior to that she served in Governor Perry’s Economic Development and Tourism office, leading Texas’ highly successful marketing efforts to promote the state as a top location for jobs and investment.

In January 2016 she was appointed by Governor Abbott to the Texas Economic Incentives Oversight Board to review the efficiency of Texas’ incentive programs. She serves on numerous boards including the Foreign Trade Zone of Central Texas, University Federal Credit Union, Texas State University’s STAR Park Commercialization Advisory Council, and United Way of Hays County. In 2016 she won the Austin Business Journal’s Profiles in Power: Central Texas Women of Influence Award. Cruz holds a B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.

William Redd

Mr. Redd is our Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director for the Austin and Metro DC regions with responsibility for the leasing and marketing, asset management, evaluation of building and land acquisitions and dispositions, third party services and property management of a diversified portfolio consisting of urban and suburban high-rise and mid-rise properties. He joined Brandywine in 1999 as Vice President of our Richmond operations. Formerly, Mr. Redd was a partner from 1988 until 1999 with Childress Klein Properties, a privately-held real estate firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. From 1985 until 1988, he was with the Trammell Crow Company.

In Austin, Mr. Redd serves on the Board of Directors of the Hill Country Conservancy, the Opportunity Austin Economic Development Council, and is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) and ULI Austin. He is also a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Real Estate Circle of Excellence, Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), and Richmond Real Estate Group. Mr. Redd earned his law degree from the University of Virginia, and a B.A. degree from Hampden-Sydney College.
