Our Commitment To Your Safety

We have experienced the enthusiasm of returning to live in-person events this year, having safely and successfully hosted more than 10,000 executives to date. While we are thrilled to convene together to propel growth within CRE, COVID-19 remains a worldwide concern and Bisnow is committed to practicing safe protocols at our events. You can expect the following:

  • Facial coverings will be required by all staff & attendees, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be made available at the door.

  • Temperature checks will be conducted at entry.

  • Contact tracing procedures will be employed for any reported exposure.

  • Socially distanced seating will be available in the main event space.

  • Enhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the event space including regularly disinfecting surfaces throughout the event and hand sanitizer provided to all attendees.

Bob oversees the civic engagement, public relations, social media, website community involvement, and public outreach activities on behalf of the City of Johns Creek. He has more than 30 years of experience in providing strategic counsel for regional, state, and local officials as well as key business decision makers. He previously served as the Director of Communication for the City of Dunwoody and was the Marketing Director at the engineering firm of Jordan, Jones & Goulding. Bob has held leadership and management positions at several global PR/Marketing agencies, including Porter Novelli and Ketchum, and also served on the executive boards at Park Pride and Theatrical Outfit. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Steve Stroud is a community leader, currently serving as the Executive Director of Roswell Inc, which promotes economic development through a public-private partnership with the City of Roswell. Roswell Inc, under Stroud’s leadership, has marketed an expanded Opportunity Zone, increasing the number of certified businesses, and launched networking/educational/informative programs to assist and retain local businesses. Stroud and his staff continue to forge an open line of communication between business owners, developers, citizens, corporations, non-profits and various entities. Roswell Inc continues to foster these relationships to enhance the quality of the community.

Previously, Stroud owned and operated Stroud’s Printing and Design for 30 years in Roswell, Georgia. Stroud has actively participated in community and nonprofits throughout Roswell for over 20 years. Stroud attended Georgia State University, with a focus in political science. A Roswell native, Stroud remains residing in Roswell, Georgia with his wife and three daughters.

Caroline Davis is the Economic Development Manager for the City of Sandy Springs, Georgia. Since joining the City in 2018, she has been responsible for facilitating economic development planning and initiatives, identifying and fostering economic development opportunities, assisting local organizations, businesses, and individuals with establishing economic development plans and projects, managing citywide recruitment and retention efforts, and marketing the City to expand economic development opportunities. Caroline is a graduate of Leadership Sandy Springs (2020). She currently serves as a Board Member for the Sandy Springs Education Force and the Innovation Academy Foundation. Caroline received her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Georgia. While pursuing her degree, she worked with The UGA Archway Partnership providing community and economic development services to rural communities throughout Georgia. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community & Leadership Development from the University of Kentucky. A native of Kentucky, Caroline now resides in Sandy Springs.

Samir Abdullahi

Samir Abdullahi is the Deputy Director for Select Fulton, Fulton County’s economic development

initiative. In this role, Samir manages both the economic development projects team in addition to the

Workforce Development division of Fulton County. His roles include recruiting new jobs and capital

investment to the county, preparing incentive packages and directing Fulton County’s $3.2M Workforce

Innovation and Opportunity Act funding. He was the Economic Development Manager of the City of

Alpharetta where he helped to brand the city as technology hub and led the recruitment of large global

and regional headquarter relocations like Fiserv Solutions and Halyard Health. He also previously worked

for Partnership Gwinnett, Gwinnett County’s public-private economic development initiative. A

graduate of the University of Georgia, Samir holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. He also

holds a master’s in Public Policy from Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies

where he frequently lectures on Economic Development policy.

As a lead designer, Greg has over thirty-four years of professional experience concentrated on master planning, designing, and managing a variety of complex building programs that include over 10 million SF of Corporate Build-to-Suit and Class "A" Speculative Office Buildings, High and Low-rise Multifamily Residential, Hospitality, Retail, Educational and Mixed-use Developments located in urban as well as suburban settings. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and a member of NAIOP, Urban Land Institute, and the Building Enclosure Council - BEC Atlanta.

Tim Perry is passionate about the power of community building and all the ingredients needed to create a great place: walkability, connectivity, hospitality, street-level energy, events and the right mix of uses. He deeply believes that fixing high-potential-but-challenged mixed-use developments or bringing new experience through additional neighborhood density is the best way North American Properties can give communities the great places they deserve. As Managing Partner, he is responsible for advancing North American Properties’ vision and strategy to acquire, reposition, and redevelop mixed-use communities as well as adding to the firm’s portfolio of fortress commercial properties.

Tim has driven North American Properties’ acquisition strategy for over a decade ultimately serving as North American Properties’ Vice President of Acquisitions in 2009, Director of Investments in 2012 and Chief Investment Officer in 2015. He previously led the acquisition, due diligence, capitalization or disposition teams for landmark communities Atlantic Station, Avalon, Colony Square, Newport on the Levee, Birkdale Village and Avenue East Cobb; and the debt/venture capitalization through his career of over $2.5 billion of total value.

Joshua Barnes is the Vice President of Real Estate Investments at Orkin & Associates, LLC. He is responsible for asset management activities of Orkin’s real estate portfolio including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development.

Joshua grew up in Lilburn, Georgia as the middle of three children. He graduated Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia. After high school, he attended the University Georgia and graduated with a B.B.A. in Real Estate. After gaining work experience, Josh went back to graduate school and obtained a M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He is a licensed real estate agent and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member Designee (CCIM®).

Joshua began his real estate career as an intern for North American Properties in the Atlanta office. From there, he was hired by TriMont Real Estate Advisors as a Financial Analyst. In September of 2007, Joshua joined Orkin & Associates, LLC. Josh currently resides in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife, Whitney, and their children, Allison and Jake.
