Over the past two decades, Malloy has worked in a variety of capacities within the development industry, including development planning and execution, marketing and branding, leasing, and public relations.

Today, Malloy is a senior leader within Selig Development Company, a subsidiary of Selig Enterprises. Malloy is focused on the development of Selig’s mixed-use developments including: The Works at Chattahoochee, 1105 West Peachtree, City Springs, and 1200 Spring Street. In addition to her experience executing developments, Malloy possesses a strong marketing, branding, and communications skill set, which allows her to provide a unique perspective to any development.

Prior to joining Selig, Malloy spent 12 years with Carter where specialized in the development of complex, large-scale urban mixed-use projects. The majority of these projects were public-private partnerships (P3). Malloy also led Carter’s Advisory Services business unit and all of Carter’s internal and external corporate and project-level marketing and communications teams.

Prior to earning her MBA, Malloy worked at Morgan Stanley where she performed financial analysis and played a large role in client relations, providing her with a solid understanding of the investment banking and securities.

Jim Irwin is the President of New City, LLC and directs the company’s real estate development and consulting operations, as well as new business pursuits. Over the course of his career, Jim has been responsible for over $500 million of new investment around the United States.

Prior to founding New City, Jim served as a Senior Vice President at Jamestown Properties, leading the development of Ponce City Market, a 2.1 million square foot former Sears, Roebuck & Co. distribution facility that was originally constructed in the 1920’s. During its redevelopment, the project was one of the largest and most significant historic renovations underway in the United States.

Jim began his career in real estate working for Atlanta-based Barry Real Estate Companies. Among other projects, Jim managed the development of a FBI Regional Headquarters, a $60 million-build-to-suit project in Minneapolis, and Harrison Square, a 16 acre mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana, anchored by an 8,000 seat minor league ballpark associated with the San Diego Padres. Since it opened to the public, the ballpark has been named “best overall minor league baseball experience” in the country four separate years.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, where he played football for four years. After college, he served as a legislative aide to two U.S. senators and a U.S. representative before returning to Atlanta to pursue a MBA with a concentration in real estate finance at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Jim and his wife, Elisabeth, have three young children.

Sweetwater Holdings Managing Partner, McKittrick Simmons, has been involved in the negotiation and execution of over $2.5 billion of real estate investment, development, leasing and financing transactions in the rental apartment, industrial, office, student housing, hotel and mixed-use land segments of the business. As Managing Partner of SWHCo, McKittrick leads all investment strategy, deal sourcing, capital and venture structuring. McKittrick also currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Cortland Partners in Atlanta, GA and he is on the investment committee of the Cortland GP Fund.

McKittrick started his career at Barry Real Estate and worked on the construction, lease negotiation, financing and sale of over $250 million of new development in Barry’s landmark Allen Plaza project in downtown Atlanta. This project included the Southern Company corporate HQ, the Ernst & Young southeastern HQ and the W Hotel & Residences. McKittrick worked for 8 years as a Principal of Seven Oaks Company, a full service commercial real estate company based in Atlanta.

McKittrick received a BS degree cum laude in Physics from Hampden-Sydney College and an MSC in International and European Politics from University of Edinburgh-Scotland. McKittrick also serves on the Boards of several Atlanta organizations, including Atlanta Youth Academy, Young Life Africa Expeditions, CEH Foundation, Desire Street Ministries and the Atlanta Resource Foundation.

McKittrick and his wife Meredith live in Atlanta and have four young children.

Brandon Ashkouti is an Atlanta native, a graduate of Marist High School, the University of Colorado, and attended graduate school at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech from 2010 to 2012.

Brandon’s real estate career began in 2003 with Gryboski, Howe and Gravley Properties, as a development associate locating sites and managing the development of single-tenant retail projects. He went on to form a partnership with his family to focus on the rollout of several national retail and restaurant groups and to start the retail development wing of their multi-generational commercial investment firm.

Brandon has specialized in build-to-suit retail, repositioning of commercial assets, land development, and rezoning land assemblages for the past 15 years. He has managed commercial developments from acquisition and design, through construction and disposition. 90% of these projects involve Fortune 500 retailers.

Brandon founded Eden Rock Real Estate partners in 2013, and in recent years, Brandon’s projects have grown significantly in scale and complexity. He is currently managing approximately $190,000,000 in commercial development across metro-Atlanta, including industrial-to-retail conversions, multi-tenant retail and grocery-anchored mixed-use with multi-family and townhome components.

Pierce leads acquisitions and asset management efforts for Third & Urban, and oversees investor relations with the company’s partners. Additionally, he works directly with third party leasing and property management teams at the operational level.

Previously, Pierce served as Vice President at Jamestown, covering multiple East Coast markets and managing a range of value add and opportunistic projects across various product types. He began his career in the Institutional Investment Sales Group at CB Richard Ellis.

Pierce earned an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a BA in Economics with a concentration in finance from the University of Virginia. He is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Atlanta Alumni Board for Woodberry Forest School. Pierce lives in Atlanta’s Garden Hills neighborhood with his wife, Emily and children Locke and Livi.

Joel has a passion for creating outdoor spaces through innovative design and planning. As the founder and president of B+C Studio (a landscape architecture and land planning firm in Atlanta), Joel oversees the overall planning design of all company projects. With over 20 years of experience in the field of landscape architecture, Joel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in helping to create unique, accessible, and sustainable communities. Throughout his professional career, Joel has designed numerous projects from corporate parks, mixed-use developments, city spaces, and award-winning master planned communities. Joel is a registered landscape architect in multiple states and is CLARB certified with a Bachelor’s of Science from West Virginia University. Joel is additionally the president and Board founder of the Emerald Corridor Foundation.

Mr. Brennan is responsible for overseeing all development and investment activities at Cannon Equities. In this role, Mr. Brennan also provides strategic consultation and project management services to Cannon’s investors and third-party clients.

Mr. Brennan joined Mr. Bell at Cannon Equities in January 2007, while completing his MBA at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Mr. Brennan is responsible for due diligence, financial analysis, and property management oversight. He has served as Project Manager for the Bellingrath on Peachtree, and Property Manager at Lakeside Commons, a 513,000 square foot class A office property in the Central Perimeter sub-market of Atlanta.

Before returning to school for his MBA, Mr. Brennan worked in corporate banking and capital markets in a variety of capacities with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. During his time at SunTrust he worked on several large commercial real estate transactions, including several transactions with public and private REITs. He started his career with Branch Banking and Trust (BB&T) as a commercial lender following completion of the BB&T Management Development Program.

Mr. Brennan is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), including serving as the Vice President of Finance for the Atlanta chapter of the Emerging Green Builders. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Emory University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Georgia. Mr. Brennan lives in Roswell with his wife and daughter.

In 2016, Elizabeth led a group of 150 commercial property owners on Howell Mill Road and Marietta Street to create this Community Improvement District (CID) focused on infrastructure improvements.

The Upper Westside Improvement District gives commercial owners a voice before local governments and a source of funding to capture much needed public investment, grants, and political attention to implement improvements on Howell Mill Road and adjoining streets.

Prior to starting the Upper Westside Improvement District, Elizabeth worked for the Atlanta BeltLine, Jamestown, and City Realty Advisors.
