Mr. Ross currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Quinn Residences, a real

estate operating company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating well

located, purpose-built, single-family rental homes located in the SE United States.

From Sept 2016 until February 2020, he was Executive Vice President & Chief

Financial Officer for Branch Properties, a grocery-anchored shopping center

company focused on the SE US. From Aug 2013 until Sept 2015, Richard was

initially CFO, and then Chief Executive Officer & President, of Trade Street

Residential, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSRE), a publicly traded multi-family REIT. Mr. Ross

was Branch Properties’ Chief Financial Officer from Apr 1998 until Dec 2010. Mr. Ross

currently serves as an independent director of Cedar Realty Trust (NYSE:CDR) and served

as a director of Independence Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: IRT) from 2015 through 2020. He

is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Georgia.

Karen Key

Managing Director, Build-to-Rent

RangeWater Real Estate

Karen is the Managing Director of Build-to-Rent for RangeWater Real Estate in the

property management division. She is responsible for supporting the Senior Managing

Director and Executive Managing Director in overseeing the operations of the management

division for the build-to-rent platform, maintaining client relations, and overseeing a client-

based portfolio within multifamily.

Karen joined RangeWater in 2014 with more than 15 years of management experience

mostly in multifamily. Her experience includes the direct management of properties

ranging from lease-ups and new developments to value-add renovations. Karen has

extensive knowledge in the Atlanta, Mid-Atlantic, and Florida markets with experience in

the Mid-West as well.

Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration with an

emphasis in Business Management from Georgia Southern University. She is an Executive

Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management. Karen is also

a member of the National Apartment Association, the Atlanta Apartment Association, and

the National Association of Realtors. She currently resides in Newnan, GA, with her two

children, Camden and Abigail.

K.C. Cleary

K.C. is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Pathway Homes where he drives business development

efforts, orchestrates product development, and builds a scalable business so Pathway can bridge the gap

between renting and owning across America. Prior to Pathway, K.C. spent three years at Fifth Wall

where he led the firm’s advisory work as the investor base grew from seven Strategic Investors in North

America representing ~$200M in AUM to 70 Investors in 15 countries and over $2.5B in AUM. K.C.

supported the investing team with numerous multifamily and single-family residential proptech

companies and worked closely with the senior management teams of the largest investors, owners and

operators in the residential market globally. Before joining Fifth Wall, K.C. spent his career in

management consulting at McKinsey, and wealth management at Goldman Sachs. Pathway Homes

entered Atlanta in November of 2021 as its flagship market and has since expanded to Phoenix, Orlando,

Tampa, and home market of Dallas, TX. Pathway has committed $750mm to increase access to

homeownership nationwide and recently announced its inaugural credit facility at $225mm which will

be used to expand its market footprint and serve more customers.

Liya Mo

Lafayette Real Estate

Liya Mo is a Senior Associate of Acquisitions and Operations at Lafayette Real Estate. She is focused on the SFR investment and Brandywine Homes USA.

Prior to joining Lafayette, she worked at Deloitte Consulting in Real Estate & Location Strategy, helping companies find optimal real estate space for geographic expansion and relocation. Liya has also worked for Rockefeller Group in real estate development, FortBridge Capital Management in real estate acquisitions, and Goldman Sachs in asset management.

Liya received her MBA/MA degree from The Wharton School and the Lauder Institute where she majored in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship & Innovation (MBA) and East Asia and Chinese language (MA). She completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis where she graduated magna cum laude.

Chris Turitto

Chris Turitto has over 15 years of experience in real estate investment, development and capital markets. His experience has spanned multiple commercial asset classes including multi-family, single-family rental, office and hospitality. Chris joined Haven in 2012 and is now currently a Principal and leads the acquisitions team out of the firm’s Nashville office. While at Haven Realty Capital, Chris has been responsible for acquiring over $1billion of single-family and multi-family rental properties.

Prior to joining the Haven Realty Capital team, Chris served as Vice President at The Prime Group, a commercial development firm based in Chicago. While at Prime, Chris oversaw the $395 million redevelopment of an 800,000 square foot historic landmark building in Chicago’s Central Business District into a JW Marriott hotel. Prior to construction, Chris negotiated the hotel, spa and restaurant management agreements. When the facility launched operations in November of 2010, Chris assumed asset management responsibilities associated with the ongoing management of the project.

Chris began his real estate career in the National Property Operations group at Equity Office Properties (EOP). There he conducted market research and oversaw financial performance of EOP’s national parking garage portfolio. After being promoted to the Investments group, Chris executed over $400 million in acquisitions and dispositions for properties located in the Midwest and West Coast regions.

Prior to his time at EOP, Chris was a Debt Capital Markets analyst with HSBC Securities in New York. As an analyst, he modeled and executed structured, high-grade debt transactions in USD, Euro, and Sterling currencies.

Chris holds a BA in History from Yale University.

Cortney Newmans serves as Lima One’s Head of National Accounts. In this role, he is charged with managing large, institutional-scale accounts for the company. His product focus includes multifamily properties and single-family portfolios for Lima One. Additionally, Cortney leads the expansion and optimization of Lima One’s national partnerships and strategic relationships across the Company’s lending network.

In his role as Director of Business Development starting in 2014, Cortney oversaw development of sales operations into 42 states including the District of Columbia. His responsibilities included providing senior-level management to business development teams. Cortney has personally originated over $275MM in SFR and Multifamily assets and overseen the production of over $375MM.

Cortney is also a real estate investor with nearly 10 years of real estate ownership and management experience, with a strong track record of executed value-add deals. He currently owns over 65 doors.

Harvey has spent his fifteen-plus real estate career building Atlanta, and has been involved in the development of more than 4,000 multifamily homes with a total capitalization of over $1.2 billion. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Group of Atlanta, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Blair Sweeney is a Managing Director in Landmark Properties’ development group and leads the company’s build-to-rent platform. Blair is a veteran of the multi-family industry, where he has spent the majority of his career in a variety of roles in development, asset management, and property management. Notably, his prior experience includes six years as a developer with Landmark’s student housing platform, where he was involved in the development of many of the company’s flagship assets. He is also an experienced developer and former executive in the self-storage sector, both with a public REIT and an entrepreneurial, Atlanta-based developer.

Blair is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in Political Science. He lives in Marietta, Georgia.

John A. Isakson, Chief Financial Officer of Preferred Apartment Communities, has spent his entire professional career in the real estate industry. He has a broad depth of knowledge of both the private and institutional side of the industry in acquisitions, dispositions, finance, and asset management. Prior to his role at PAC, Mr. Isakson was a founding partner of Williams Asset Management, along with John Williams in January 2006. Williams Asset Management was an investment and asset management firm that ran a private equity fund from 2006 to 2013. Mr. Isakson also served as CEO of Tarpon Development, LLC – a company he co-founded in 1999. Prior to starting Tarpon Development, Mr. Isakson served as vice president of finance for Julian LeCraw & Company, and as a loan officer for Wachovia Bank financing real estate assets in various sectors. In his roles, he has raised equity and debt and closed on transactions with a wide-range of financial instruments – from traditional construction and acquisition financing, to sophisticated bond and tax credit financing. He has participated in transactions ranging from the acquisition and renovation of properties and the construction of high-rise apartments, to the refinancing and repositioning of a variety of apartment communities. Throughout his real estate investment career, Mr. Isakson has participated in transactions representing over 22,000 units and a total capitalization of over $2 billion. He earned a masters in economics from The University of Georgia in Athens and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Dillon Baynes

As managing partner of Columbia Ventures, Dillon Baynes has primary operational and managerial responsibilities for the firm. Dillon applies his entrepreneurial style, community relationship values, and business experience towards creative solutions throughout all phases of the real estate development process, from acquisition to design, entitlement, construction, marketing, lease-up, and operations. Khalil and Baynes have an eight year relationship spanning several joint venture development projects and other investments. His experience varies from multifamily (both for rent and for sale) to single family and land lot/subdivisions, to retail and office and mixed-use, and land conservation.

With a successful track record as an entrepreneur, Baynes founded and ultimately sold a restaurant group in Virginia in the 1990s immediately following college. Bringing the commercial renovation experience from the restaurant business, he embarked on a career in commercial real estate which includes over 1,200 residential units developed in addition to over a million feet of commercial space, while separately operating a property management firm. Baynes brings seventeen years of commercial real estate development and investment experience to Columbia Ventures. Examples of recent work include Studioplex, a mixed-use, mixed-income phased redevelopment in the heart of Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward, on the Beltline, where he serves as managing partner; and Village Place Brookhaven, a premier retail, office and residential condominium project at the heart of Brookhaven’s urban core, successfully completed and sold in 2012. A committed entrepreneur, he served as CEO of musictoday.com prior to its sale to Live Nation, and has had an active role in several startups as advisor and private equity investor in fields as disparate as insurance, technology and risk management. Dillon is actively involved in the Congress for the New Urbanism and the Urban Land Institute, and volunteers for Atlanta’s Beltline. He attended Georgetown University, holding a bachelor’s degree in History.

Alex King

Alex King serves as the Director of Acquisitions at TruAmerica Multifamily, ranked 25 th on

NMHC’s 2023 list of largest apartment owners in the United States. TruAmerica focuses

primarily on acquiring and operating suburban garden-style and mid-rise complexes, often with

a renovation component.

Based in the firm’s Washington DC-area office, Mr. King has oversight of all Acquisitions activity

on the east coast for TruAmerica, covering nearly every major and secondary market between

Boston and Miami. During his time at TruAmerica Mr. King has led the acquisition of over 10,000

units across 34 properties totaling $2.3 billion in value, including TruAmerica’s four acquisitions

in Greater Boston since late 2020. Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley

University and an MBA from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.

Michael Errichetti is responsible for underwriting and closing FCP’s multifamily acquisitions throughout the Southeast Region. Michael has been involved in the acquisition and development of over $1 billion of multifamily investments across more than 8,000 units. Michael graduated from Northwestern University where he earned his BA with a concentration in Economics.
