An experienced commercial real estate advisor for over 20 years, Wesley is an Opportunity Zone National Leader and Audit Partner with Cherry Bekaert’s Real Estate & Construction industry group. Based in the Atlanta office, he provides guidance to clients on real estate tax credit transactions, pre-acquisition due diligence, purchase price allocation, tax mitigation structuring, real estate consulting and financial statement audits.

Wesley’s technical ability encompasses an assortment of expertise with clients in the hotels and resorts, student housing, military housing, multi-family/affordable housing, and retail/office sectors. He also consults on equity rollups, public filing preparation and large-scale real estate portfolio acquisitions. In addition, Wesley has helped real estate holding companies, developers, contractors and private equity funds with transactions ranging from $25 million to $4 billion.

Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Wesley led the Atlanta office and Commercial Real Estate Group for the Southeast for a Top 15 National Accounting Firm. He previously held various Board of Directors positions with local chapters of NAIOP, Central Atlanta Progress, and the City of Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Chapter of the Urban Land Institute for five years (including three years as Treasurer) and was on the National Board of Directors for the National Multi-Housing Council. Wesley is a regular speaker at various real estate conferences around the nation.

Matt Bronfman

Matt Bronfman is a Principal and the Chief Executive Officer of Jamestown. Mr.

Bronfman joined the company in 1998 as General Counsel and in 2002 was

named Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. He became CEO in 2012,

and is responsible for managing Jamestown’s global operations and overseeing

corporate strategy and execution. Under Matt’s leadership, Jamestown has

grown its portfolio of assets in the U.S. and expanded into Latin America and

Europe.

Mr. Bronfman has more than 25 years of experience in real estate and has led the acquisition,

redevelopment and oversight for over $20 billion in projects, including Chelsea Market in New York City,

Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Industry City in Brooklyn, the Innovation and Design Building in Boston, and

Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco.

Prior to joining Jamestown, Mr. Bronfman practiced law at Holland & Knight. He currently serves on the

boards for the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Jewish Federations of North

America, and is Board Chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Mr. Bronfman also serves as

President of the board of Directors for the Jamestown Charitable Foundation, which supports nonprofits

to help make cities more enjoyable places to live and work. He has been recognized as a leader in the

industry and is a recipient of the Real Estate Roundtable President’s Circle Award; New York Observer’s

100 Most Powerful People in New York Real Estate in 2013 and 2014; Commercial Observer’s Top 100

Most Powerful People in Commercial Real Estate from 2015 to 2020; Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Most

Admired CEO in 2017; 2019’s 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend; and Atlanta Magazine’s

Top 500 Most Powerful Leaders of 2019.

Mr. Bronfman graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Tufts University in Boston and

attended law school at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, graduating magna cum laude.

MARK TORO founded Atlanta-based Toro Development Company in 2021 to create value by building community. As Chief Vision Officer, Toro will use a metric-driven approach to identify properties that have significant potential based on the promise of the locale. He and his team have multi-dimensional experience, positioning Toro Development Company to choose the right use or mix of uses for each redevelopment.

Prior to starting Toro Development Company, Toro cofounded and led the North American Properties (NAP) Atlanta office where he oversaw $3.1 billion in real estate development, totaling 9.4 million square feet. He delivered industry-leading returns to his capital partners, became known nationally as a leader in experience-driven commercial real estate and left a legacy of great communities. His successes at NAP include the repositioning of Atlantic Station, development of Alpharetta’s $1 billion Avalon and the redevelopment of Colony Square.

Toro currently serves on ICSC’s Board of Trustees, Midtown Alliance’s Board of Directors and serves as vice chair of the City of Refuge Board, where he chaired the $25 million “Shining the Light” capital campaign. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The ATL, a State authority that governs the expansion of public transportation in Metro Atlanta.

Before cofounding NAP’s Atlanta office in 1996, Toro served in several leadership positions with Faison and Cousins Properties. He has developed, redeveloped or repositioned more than 70 properties totaling almost 30 million square feet during his career.

Ambrish brings over 27 years of global real estate experience to his role at Portman where he is responsible for the overall management and performance of the firm. His broad geographic and work exposure brings a strong corporate strategy and property development skillset to Portman.

Prior to joining Portman, he was Development Director of ALDAR Properties PJSC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he was responsible for a development portfolio in excess of $20 billion. Earlier in his career, he was Development Manager for the Greater Union Organization for the Middle East and India. Prior to that, Ambrish held various senior positions with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting and the TATA Group. Ambrish has worked in the USA, China, India, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia, across a broad spectrum of property types and responsibilities.

Ambrish has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from the University of Rajasthan, India, and an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Australia. He is active in the community and participates on the boards of Central Atlanta Progress, Midtown Alliance, Atlanta Police Foundation, Leadership Atlanta, Atlanta Beltline Partnership, Piedmont Park Conservancy, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber.

Egbert L. J. Perry, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Integral Group LLC. Founded in 1993 by Mr. Perry, Integral is a real estate development, advisory and investment management company based in Atlanta. Mr. Perry has over 35 years of experience as a real estate professional, including work in urban development, developing and investing in mixed-income, mixed-use communities, affordable/work force housing and commercial real estate projects in markets across the country. Mr. Perry currently serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of the Penn Institute for Urban Research and as a long-time trustee of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Perry also served from 2002 through 2008 as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Mr. Perry has been a Fannie Mae director since December 2008. Mr. Perry was appointed Chairman of Fannie Mae's Board effective March 31, 2014. Mr. Perry serves as Chair of the Executive Committee.

Clark Dean helps directs Transwestern’s Occupier Solutions business and is the founder of the company’s Transaction Sciences platform, which operates across service lines. Clark is a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors and its National Occupier Solutions Steering Committee. He also helps lead the company’s global partnerships with BNP Paribas Real Estate and Devencore.

With a background in biomedical engineering, management consulting, and financial structuring, Clark is known for being a disruptive innovator in the brokerage industry. His Transaction Sciences practice combines robust brokerage capabilities with behavioral science, organizational science, and decision science to deliver real estate solutions that optimize culture, function, and economics for occupiers and investors. Prior to joining Transwestern, Clark was a founding principal of Studley’s

Corporate Services Group where he spent over a decade working on some of the firm’s largest and most complex assignments. Before that, Clark was a management consultant and later chief operating officer for a management consulting firm specializing in strategic and operational consulting for insurance and financial service companies. He began his real estate career with Studley as a financial

analyst in Washington, DC.
