Lisa R. Hurd serves as Executive Vice President at Atlanta-based real estate investment and development firm The RADCO Companies. As the co-head of the RADCO Investment division, Lisa oversees Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Dispositions for the firm. Lisa’s team structures and raises private equity capital, sources creative and accretive debt, manages investment performance, debt, and investor relations for all assets under management, and oversees dispositions activity within RADCO’s multifamily, JV equity, and hotel portfolio.

Lisa has spent her entire career at RADCO and has held multiple roles within the firm during its unprecedented growth following The Great Recession. Beginning her career as an Asset Manager, Lisa oversaw the operations, renovation, repositioning, and ultimate disposition of 5,000 apartment units in multiple markets. She also has worked in both Capital Markets and Acquisitions Analytics, where she underwrote hundreds of potential investment opportunities to expand RADCO’s multifamily portfolio. In her most recent role as Vice President of Capital Markets, Lisa raised more than $800 million in private equity capital and sourced over $3 billion in debt to finance RADCO’s investments while providing best in class investor relations management for RADCO’s network of over 1,000 high net worth investors.

In addition to Lisa’s role at RADCO, she works with several organizations focusing on female empowerment and social equity. In 2016, Ms. Hurd co-founded Real Estate Network Empowering Women, Inc. (RENEW), an initiative to inspire, empower, and advance women in commercial real estate finance. After several years as Co-President, she still serves on the board of directors in an advisory capacity. She is also a board member and serves as Chairwoman of Resource Development for Cool Girls, Inc, a non-profit organization seeking to end the cycle of poverty, low self-esteem, and teen pregnancy for Atlanta girls. Lisa also is an active board member of Open Doors, an initiative led by the Atlanta real estate community with a mission to eradicate homelessness. Lisa also sits on the board of The RADCO Companies and serves as Treasurer of The Radow Family Charitable Foundation. In 2018, Ms. Hurd was featured as a “Woman to Watch” in commercial real estate finance by Globe Street’s Real Estate Forum.

Jatin Desai

Jatin’s primary responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating and financing hotel acquisition and development projects.

Previously, he was with Wachovia Securities, where he focused on asset underwriting and private equity transactions ranging from $100 million to more than $5 billion. He also formed Stonehill Property Group, a family-funded investment venture targeting select- and full-service hotel investments throughout the southeast.

Jatin received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also attended The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and The London School of Economics and Political Science. He currently is an Advisory Board member for the Wood Center for Real Estate Studies at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill. Jatin also sits on the board for the UNC Center for Public Services at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Atlanta Hospitality Alliance.

Amy Curry

Amy Curry is Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of Dermody Properties with responsibility to drive growth in the company’s existing and future development and joint venture platforms. She is a member of the Dermody Properties Executive and Investment Committee and brings with her approximately 22 years of experience in commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Ms. Curry was an Executive Vice President for Hillwood where she held multiple regional leadership roles sourcing and stabilizing industrial joint ventures, developments and acquisitions. During her tenure she sourced or executed on more than 7 million square feet of joint ventures valued at more than $625 million. In addition, she was involved with more than 10.5 million square feet of industrial development throughout the east region.

Prior to joining Hillwood, Ms. Curry held leadership positions at GLP, IndCor (a Blackstone Company) and First Industrial. While at GLP, Ms. Curry oversaw all asset management for 90 million square feet of industrial product spread across 20 markets in the eastern half of the United States. In addition, she deployed capital and supported portfolio acquisitions totaling more than $5.5 billion in value.

Ms. Curry holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. She has held leadership and board member positions for NAIOP, CSCMP and CCIM.

As one of the lead business development and execution specialists for his team, Sladich provides extensive knowledge to buyers and sellers of all profiles nationwide. Before to joining Northmarq, Sladich served as the Regional Director & Partner for Stan Johnson Company’s Atlanta office and has been with the firm since 2013. Previously, Sladich served as National Sales Manager for Sports Shares, LLC and was accountable for all aspects of the Atlanta market, including strategic planning, sales, marketing and management.

Co-founding Selig Development alongside Scott Selig in 2014, Baile is recognized as one of Atlanta’s leading developers whose dossier accounts for over 5,500,000 square feet of commercial, hospitality, residential and mixed-use developments and acquisitions.

Current projects include three new towers started in 2018, The Epicurean Atlanta Hotel, 40 West 12th Street (Condominiums) and 1105 West Peachtree (Office) plus street-level retail. The Works, a mixed-use 80+/- acre development on Atlanta's Upper Westside represent 1.5 million square feet of office, residential, retail and entertainment, 550 North Highland (residential) and two additional towers in Midtown round out Selig Development's current initiatives. Baile's ventures represent in excess of $2.5 Billion in the Atlanta Region since 2004.

Jason is the Chief Financial Officer of Lalani Ventures. His responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, cash management, evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and implementing operational and growth strategies. Prior to joining Lalani Ventures, Jason co-founded and served as Chief Financial Officer of Gulf Capital Bank in Houston, TX. While at Gulf Capital Bank, Jason developed the operational strategy, financial model, business plan and charter application which led to the first de novo banking charter issued in the state of Texas in over a decade.

Before joining Gulf Capital Bank, Jason served as the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development of a publicly traded company in the energy sector where he managed all aspects of originating and executing mergers and acquisitions along with driving the overall strategic direction of the company. Previously, Jason spent over ten years in investment banking working in senior leadership roles with J.P. Morgan and KeyBanc in New York, Australia, and Houston. Jason began his career as a business analyst at Deloitte Consulting in Atlanta.

Jason received his BS in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As Managing Partner, he is responsible for advancing North American Properties’ vision and strategy to acquire, reposition, and redevelop mixed-use communities as well as adding to the firm’s portfolio of fortress commercial properties.

Tim has driven North American Properties’ acquisition strategy for over a decade ultimately serving as North American Properties’ Vice President of Acquisitions in 2009, Director of Investments in 2012 and Chief Investment Officer in 2015. He previously led the acquisition, due diligence, capitalization or disposition teams for landmark communities Atlantic Station, Avalon, Colony Square, Newport on the Levee, Birkdale Village and Avenue East Cobb; and the debt/venture capitalization through his career of over $2.5 billion of total value.

Aileen Almassy

As a 21-year veteran in commercial real estate, Aileen Almassy has extensive experience in the leasing and

management of Class A Office properties. Ms. Almassy has always been focused on landlord representation,

and in her current role as Leasing Director she is responsible for leading Cushman & Wakefield Atlanta’s

agency leasing practice and for the marketing and leasing of several office buildings throughout the metro area.

Ms. Almassy utilizes her creativity and market knowledge to best position her properties attributes and

leverages her strong relationships with the business community, economic development groups, and area

tenant brokers to maximize return on investment for her clients.

Ms. Almassy joined Cushman & Wakefield in February of 2007. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, she was a

Leasing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she successfully leased and marketed several buildings in the

Midtown, Buckhead, and Central Perimeter submarkets. Ms. Almassy began her career with Equity Office

Properties in Atlanta, where she built her career and flourished for more than ten years. She has a wide breadth

of experience in staff, asset, accounting, and construction management.

She represents many national and international developers and institutional portfolio owners with millions of square feet of assets in locations through the United States. She also represents national end-user tenant clients in the leasing of large industrial warehouse, industrial buildings, and medical office buildings.

Laura handles all aspects of commercial leasing with an emphasis on landlord representation. Her practice extends from Texas to Florida and north to Maryland. With many years of experience, she is not only a legal representative for her clients but is also a business advisor on many transactions from the letter of intent stage through and including a lease termination.

Prior to forming Sheley, Hall & Williams, P.C., Laura was Counsel with King & Spalding LLP, where she represented numerous real estate developers and portfolio owners. In this role, Gabrielle is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets and schedule, design management, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team, the Owner, and stakeholders to ensure the job remains on schedule and within budget and minimizes impacts on Airport operations and the passenger experience. Prior to moving to Atlanta, Gabrielle worked in the DC metro area on the CSX Transportation’s Virginia Avenue Tunnel Reconstruction project and Howard County, Maryland’s Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant Biosolids Upgrade project.
