Why This Matters
A CBRE report indicated that Atlanta is placed as the 6th ranked domestic market preferred by investors, meaning the city is ripe for continued development. Major market altering projects span from south of the city to far north in the market's suburbs. However, a mix of constraints have presented themselves over the past 12-18 months. Financing is difficult to procure, and the need for additional housing of all types is pressing as more multifamily permits have been accepted than ever before. At the same time, many submarkets are densely packed with underutilized office assets that are becoming increasingly difficult to hold on to. This event will offer strategies around securing financing to maintain project momentum, strategies around adapting and repositioning underperforming properties, and shed a light on the status and future of some of the city's most notable projects.
What You'll Learn:
What projects are poised to fundamentally alter the experience of the metro areas six million+ residents?
How are developers securing and maintaining financing for projects today and what sources is it coming from?
How is construction financing leading to changes in project execution and timelines?
What ability exists to reposition assets to more attractive uses?
How can developers navigate the rezoning and repositioning process swiftly and successfully?
How You'll Do More Business:
Enhance your business by gaining a stronger understanding of the investment, development, and building landscape in Atlanta. Hear from the most active firms who will address strategy around procuring construction financing, rezoning vs. repositioning decision making, and the topics most pertinently and tangibly impacting the building ecosystem in the market.
Who You'll Meet:
Atlanta's top developers, general contractors, architects, subs, investors, government officials, and more!
