Britton is a Senior Managing Director in the Atlanta office of JLL Capital Markets,

Americas. He joined JLL in 2017 to lead with his partners, the Southeast Industrial

Capital Markets practice within the Capital Markets Group. Britton and his team focus

on the disposition and capitalization of industrial assets and portfolios across the

Southeast. They are part of JLL’s National Industrial Capital Market Team – a fully

integrated national practice which executed over $23.4 billion of industrial

disposition,equity placement and loan sales transactions in 2023. In the Southeast,

Britton and his regional team have completed an aggregate transactional value of

$12.25 billion, totaling over 117.2 million square feet since 2021. Over the same

period in the Savannah GA market Britton and team have complete a market leading

$1.76 billion of dispositions making up 19.6 million square feet.

As Senior Director, Jake Reid specializes in assisting both private and institutional clients in the disposition and acquisition of multifamily properties throughout Georgia.

During his career, Mr. Reid has represented clients in the dispositions for more than 200 properties totaling over $600 million. Through the Franklin Street collaborative platform, Mr. Reid is able to focus on clients’ financial needs and goals as a focal point of the exit strategy – including a detailed marketing plan tailored for a seamless transaction to achieve maximum proceeds for his clients.

Initiating Franklin Street’s Atlanta multifamily sales practice in 2010, Mr. Reid oversees Atlanta’s growing team dedicated to serving the multifamily communities throughout the Southeast. Prior to joining Franklin Street, he served as part of the apartment sales team for Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office for more than nine years. Before his career in investment sales, Mr. Reid gained valuable experience in apartment management with LIT Properties based in Midtown Atlanta. In addition to existing multifamily sales, he has unique experience with the marketing of suburban land, urban infill, and adaptive reuse properties.

Mr. Reid is currently a member of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and a recipient of numerous awards including being recognized as one of Real Estate Forum’s 2016 50 Under 40 professionals. He has received Franklin Street’s Sales Achievement Award from 2012 to 2018 and was a Top Earner Award winner in Atlanta for 2015.

Mr. Reid graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a concentration in Finance. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of Georgia.

Lance Patterson is the CEO of Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group, LLC, which he founded in January 2010. Patterson is a capital placement and real estate finance advisory firm based in Atlanta, with additional office locations in Charlotte, Charleston, Dallas, Nashville and Tampa. Under Lance’s leadership, the firm now employs 25 full-time professionals and has closed more than 450 transactions representing approximately $11 billion in capital placement. Patterson is active in all asset classes and capital platforms, primarily throughout the southern United States with growing activities in the Mid- and Mountain West.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Immediately prior to forming Patterson, Lance served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Barry Real Estate Companies where he oversaw the company’s capital market activities and general administration. While at Barry, he was responsible for the financing, acquisition, and development of more than $1.5 billion of transactions.

Lance’s career spans nearly 40 years in commercial real estate finance and includes experience as a banker, capital advisor, developer, loan guarantor and investor – all built on a foundation of deeply analytical capital skills. Over his career, Lance forged relationships across the capital markets and enjoys working closely with clients to help leverage great products through appropriate capitalization.

INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT

Lance is past Chair of the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) Atlanta District Council, ULI Atlanta Governance Committee and ULI Urban Development-Mixed Use Commercial Silver Council. He is currently a member of the ULI Atlanta Executive Committee.

He has been on the boards of New Horizons for Children and Central Atlanta Progress, and is currently on the boards of TVS Design and The Atlantic Companies. He was also on the steering committee for the Terwilliger Center for Workforce Housing.

In addition to his Series 63 and Series 79 licenses, Lance holds broker licenses in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

LIFESTYLE

Lance is originally from Columbia, Missouri where he still has strong family ties. He resides with his wife in Atlanta, and together they enjoy an active love of travel. Lance has three grown sons with whom he spends as much time as possible, and has a growing number of grandchildren, soon to be four. He speaks fluent German and is a member of The Cathedral of St. Philip Episcopal Church.

Henry is responsible for overseeing the origination of between $750 million and $1.0

billion of new mortgage loan and real estate equity investments in the Southeast each

year for Northwestern Mutual Real Estate (NMRE). He leads a investment team of 6

people and is also responsible for managing the existing $6.0 billion mortgage portfolio

in the Southeast. Loans originated by NMRE are typically long term, fixed rate and

moderate leverage. The equity investments are primarily ground up new developments

with some acquisitions.

Henry has been with NMRE since 1992. He has a bachelor of business administration

degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame (1985) and a masters of

business administration degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at

Northwestern University (1992).

Scott Werbel is a Managing Director at The Ardent Companies. He is responsible for Real Estate acquisitions and originating Bridge Loans through the Ardent Financial Fund platform. Prior to joining Ardent in July 2014, Scott was an Acquisitions Officer at RCG Ventures, a Private Retail REIT, where he managed the acquisition of shopping centers and non-performing loans collateralized by the shopping centers. Prior to RCG, Scott was Founder and Managing Principal of Impressa Group, a retail and multifamily acquisition company based in Atlanta and Chicago. Prior to Impressa, Scott was the Vice President of Acquisitions at Equity Investment Group, a private Retail REIT, where he directed an acquisition team based in Atlanta and acquired 27 retail properties. Prior to EIG, Scott was a Director of Sales at LNR, a national commercial real estate company, where he headed a disposition team which restructured, foreclosed, and sold nearly $400 million in distressed assets. Prior to LNR, Scott was an Asset Manager at Trimont Real Estate Advisors/Hatfield Philips, where he was involved with debt restructure and workouts of distressed assets. In 2019, Scott was elected to the Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID), a nonprofit whose mission is to create and maintain a safe, accessible, and livable urban environment. Scott is also a member of the Georgia State University Real Estate Board. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Virginia Tech and an Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University.

Under his leadership, the company has experienced consistent growth and diversified earnings, solidifying its standing as one of the leading full-service commercial real estate firms in the Southeast. To date, Ackerman & Co. has developed and acquired nearly 35 million square feet of office, medical, industrial, retail and mixed-use space; maintains an investment portfolio valued at $1 billion; and has 8 million square feet under management.

Miller is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Georgia. He serves on the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts Board, the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC) and the Carter Center Board of Councilors. He is a Forum Leader of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), past Program Chair of the Harvard University Real Estate Academic Initiative and President of the Silver Lake Association, an 80-acre, old-growth urban forest dedicated to green space preservation. He is also an active member of NAIOP and ICSC.

A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University with an A.B. in Economics, he also attended the London School of Economics & Political Science and Citicorp’s Institute of Global Finance and Management Program for MBA’s focusing on corporate finance, capital structuring risk management, and public and private capital markets.

As Managing Partner, he is responsible for advancing North American Properties’ vision and strategy to acquire, reposition, and redevelop mixed-use communities as well as adding to the firm’s portfolio of fortress commercial properties.

Tim has driven North American Properties’ acquisition strategy for over a decade ultimately serving as North American Properties’ Vice President of Acquisitions in 2009, Director of Investments in 2012 and Chief Investment Officer in 2015. He previously led the acquisition, due diligence, capitalization or disposition teams for landmark communities Atlantic Station, Avalon, Colony Square, Newport on the Levee, Birkdale Village and Avenue East Cobb; and the debt/venture capitalization through his career of over $2.5 billion of total value.

Will James is be part of NorthMarq’s national equity team providing guidance where appropriate. Since 1998, Will has participated in or directed transactions with a real estate value of over $2.0 Billion. His involvement in the debt and equity components of these transactions equals just over $1.4 Billion. Approximately 65% of these transactions since 1998 involved the arrangement of equity, mezzanine and/or preferred equity capital for his clients. Since 2005, almost 80% of his transactions involved risk capital, and in the last 6 years 75%+ have included risk capital. Will founded JW Realty Capital in 2004 which was associated with an Atlanta based Real Estate Investment Banking firm from 2005-2011. While associated with BridgePointe Advisors, Will expanded and executed real estate investment banking assignments for the company. Will's area of expertise is structured finance and working with clients who seek risk capital in tandem with senior debt.

Will has been in the real estate valuation and financial consulting industry for 20 years upon graduating with a major in Real Estate from the University of South Carolina. The first 1/3 of Will's career involved providing real property tax valuation services to commercial property owners when he was hired by a local boutique company in 1990. Within a few years Will was hired to start the Atlanta real property tax practice for Arthur Andersen LLP where he worked with national and local clients within the firm. After running this practice for 5.5 years, Will left Andersen and shifted his career to mortgage banking where he was hired in 1998 as a Senior Analyst with Holliday, Fenoglio, Fowler, LP's Atlanta office.

Will is married and has 1 child. They enjoy the outdoors and the many sports activities a 8 year old son can explore.
