BISWIRE/Nov. 6, 2026 — Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Chavchavadze has been named Hotel Service Excellence of the Year at the National Tourism Awards Georgia 2026.
Held annually since 2015, the National Tourism Awards recognize excellence, quality, and innovation across Georgia’s tourism and hospitality industry. They reward the outstanding contributions of companies, organizations and individuals who contribute to the growth and success of Georgian tourism, with nominations including many of Georgia’s major players from the hospitality industry.
The recognition comes during the same month the hotel celebrated its fifth anniversary. Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Chavchavadze opened in October 2021 under a partnership between Hilton Worldwide and Redix Group, the Georgian real estate and hospitality company. The opening marked the first Hilton Garden Inn in Georgia and Hilton’s first hotel in the Georgian capital, and followed a 2013 agreement signed between Redix Group, Hilton Worldwide, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The Hilton Garden Inn is housed within CH64, a landmark high-rise development that stands out as a defining example of Redix’s approach to deliver modern commercial spaces that meet international standards for globally recognized institutions. The 14-storey, $40 million hotel offers 170 rooms, alongside eight versatile meeting rooms, a restaurant, and a 24-hour fitness center among other amenities. It serves a diverse array of guests, including international and domestic business travelers, diplomatic delegations, leisure guests, families, and small groups. The all-day dining restaurant, ANDAZI, serves cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products sourced from Redix Group’s own dairy farm, Kvarelis Baga, in the Georgian region of Kakheti.
Located on Chavchavadze Avenue in Vake, one of Tbilisi’s most prestigious districts, Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi combines the assurance of a globally recognized brand with the warmth, generosity and sense of place for which Georgia is known. Its market promise is simple: global consistency, delivered with Georgian character.
Nano Urushadze, general manager for Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Chavchavadze, commented: “As a hotel welcoming guests from diverse cultures and backgrounds, we believe excellence begins with understanding individual needs and creating experiences that make everyone feel genuinely welcome.
“We are honored to be part of the Hilton family and proud to represent a brand whose values allow us to bring together global standards of hospitality with the warmth, generosity, and genuine care that are so deeply rooted in Georgian culture.”
Founded by Lasha and Sulkhan Papashvili in 2007, Redix Group manages a diversified real estate portfolio that spans modern office complexes, hotels, and residential developments across Georgia.
Looking ahead, Redix Group plans to open the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in the Georgian spa town of Abastumani in 2027. The opening will mark its second project under the Hilton partnership, reflecting Redix’s ability to expand its hospitality portfolio in line with global benchmarks.
