Mid-Atlantic Properties Acquires Court Towers in Towson
BISWIRE/Aug. 8, 2023 — Mid-Atlantic Properties, Inc., owned by Wayne R. Gioioso, Jr., recently purchased Court Towers, located in the heart of Towson at 210 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Towson, MD 21204. The eight-story, Class “A” building sits on an acre of land and consists of approximately 140,000 square feet of office and retail space and an attached parking garage accommodating 330 spaces.
Alex Stern negotiated the purchase on behalf of Mid-Atlantic Properties as the company’s general counsel. Jay Wellschlager of JLL, a leading global commercial real estate and investment management company, brokered the transaction.
Court Towers’ amenities include its incredible Downtown Towson location, easy access to retail locations, restaurants, and nearby neighborhoods, a full-time lobby receptionist and security guard, and a fully equipped fitness center with locker rooms, a sauna, and showers. Court Towers is also home to a Nalley Fresh located on the first floor, has ample parking with its attached eight-level, covered parking garage, and provides convenient access to the Baltimore County Courthouse, located directly across Pennsylvania Avenue.
Mid-Atlantic Properties looks forward to updating this building by renovating individual suites, as well as updating both the interior and exterior of the building, including the lobby and common areas.
