Industry Real Estate Leader Joins CIP to Lead Workforce Housing

Culver Investment Partners Appoints Dani Evanson as Managing Partner to Scale Affordable and Workforce Housing Platform

Veteran real estate finance executive brings three decades of experience in capital markets, affordable housing finance and tax-exempt bond structuring to the firm's next phase of growth.

BISWIRE/Oct. 19, 2026 — Culver Investment Partners ("CIP"), a vertically integrated multifamily owner-operator focused on affordable and workforce housing, today announced that Dani Evanson has joined the firm as Managing Partner, partnering with Founder and Managing Partner Jeremy Basloe. A widely respected real estate investment executive, Evanson brings 30 years of experience across capital markets, portfolio strategy, and affordable housing finance.

Based in CIP's newly opened Los Angeles office, Evanson co-leads the firm's growth strategy and operations, directs the firm's capital markets activity and portfolio strategy, and serves on its investment committee with oversight of asset management. She joins as CIP expands beyond its Texas base into Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and as the firm extends its platform into new housing verticals. The Los Angeles office establishes a West Coast presence for CIP and its capital markets activity.

"Dani brings exactly the combination of capital markets depth, affordable housing expertise and entrepreneurial track record that CIP needs for its next chapter," said Jeremy Basloe, Founder and Managing Partner of Culver Investment Partners. "She has built companies, raised and managed private and institutional capital, and structured more than a billion dollars of structured financing for affordable housing. As we scale the platform and open new markets, her leadership will be invaluable. I could not be more pleased to have her as my partner."

"Jeremy has built CIP into a disciplined, transparent and mission-driven operator in a remarkably short time, with more than 3,200 units and an institutional-grade reporting and asset-management platform that firms many times our size would envy," said Dani Evanson, Managing Partner of Culver Investment Partners. "The need for quality affordable and workforce housing has never been greater, and the tools to deliver it — innovative capital solutions, public-private affordability structures and hands-on operations — are areas where I have spent the last decade. Together, we intend to strengthen what Jeremy has launched, build new housing verticals and grow CIP into a national residential manager."

Since 2018, Evanson has focused her career on affordable multifamily housing. She co-founded Align Finance Partners, a private real estate finance company that was among the first platforms dedicated to providing tax-exempt subordinate financing to affordable multifamily properties. Under her leadership, Align raised more than $200 million of private capital across closed-end funds and separate accounts and has structured more than $1 billion of tax-exempt bond transactions for the acquisition, development and refinancing of affordable communities. She is also co-founder, Secretary and Treasurer of Step-Up Housing, a California nonprofit that owns nearly 1,500 apartment units in California and Georgia financed with more than $300 million of non-recourse tax-exempt bonds.

Previously, Evanson served for 15 years as Managing Director and investment committee member of Regis Metro Associates, Inc., an SEC-registered investment advisor, where she led acquisitions and capital raising for seven real estate funds and separate accounts representing $1.1 billion in investor equity commitments. Earlier, she was Director of Real Estate for a Los Angeles family office, overseeing a portfolio with an underlying asset value exceeding $2 billion, and began her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young. Evanson serves on the Board of Directors of Mark IV Capital and previously served five years on the board of Abode Communities, one of the largest nonprofit affordable housing developers in Los Angeles.
