Compensation: $125,000–$149,999 + Incentive Bonus

The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an attorney seeking hands-on deal experience, meaningful client interaction, and a clear path for long-term career growth in real estate law. Working alongside a collaborative team, the selected attorney will manage transactions from contract to closing, resolve land-use and permitting issues, and play a key role in advancing development, leasing, and subdivision projects.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, HOA and condominium documents, and commercial leases
- Lead and participate in negotiations, translating business discussions into clear, actionable contract language
- Manage due diligence, including title and survey review, transaction documentation, and issue resolution
- Serve as transactional counsel on residential subdivision and development projects, including permitting matters
- Provide proactive, strategic legal support to clients throughout the lifecycle of each transaction
- Contribute to firm thought leadership and business development initiatives through writing and client engagement
- 4+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience with exposure to development, leasing, or residential subdivision work
- Detail-oriented, collaborative communicator with strong legal judgment and business acumen
- Active Maryland Bar required; DC or Virginia Bar preferred
