They are now seeking a Director to join their growing New York office — a high-ownership role built for a dealmaker who thrives on moving fast, thinking critically, and executing with precision. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic operator to lead transactions from origination through close, with the support of a high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Full-Cycle Deal Execution: Own transactions end-to-end — from initial intake to final close and beyond. Manage underwriting, capital strategy, term sheet negotiation, diligence, and closing.
- Structure Smart Capital Stacks: Design solutions that meet sponsor goals and align with current capital market conditions.
- Underwriting and Investment Materials: Oversee the creation of investor-grade offering memoranda and maintain internal standards across modeling and documentation.
- Lender Strategy and Negotiation: Build relationships, drive competitive terms, and align outcomes to each transaction’s unique profile.
- Close with Urgency: Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to meet timelines and ensure seamless execution.
- Post-Close Relationship Management: Maintain sponsor relationships to generate repeat business and continued advisory opportunities.
- Team and Process Leadership: Help build scalable systems, enhance workflows, and grow internal capabilities as the firm expands.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in real estate capital markets, finance, or advisory roles
- Proven ability to manage complex deals across asset classes and capital stacks
- Strong underwriting and strategic thinking skills with a bias for action
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Team player who thrives on ownership and accountability
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $180,000–$230,000 base salary + strong bonus potential
