BISWIRE/April 21, 2026 — Bialow Real Estate, a national retail real estate consulting firm specializing in tenant representation, today announced the addition of Ross Modjeska as Vice President in its Chicago office. Modjeska will focus on advising retailers and restaurants on strategic growth initiatives, including national expansion, site selection, and lease negotiations.

“Ross is an exceptional addition to our team and further strengthens our presence in Chicago and across the Midwest,” said Corey Bialow, Founder and CEO of Bialow Real Estate. “His experience working on some of the most dynamic mixed-use and retail developments in the country, along with his relationships across the industry, will be instrumental as we continue to support our clients’ national expansion strategies.”

Modjeska joins Bialow Real Estate from McCaffery Inc., a prominent Chicago-based developer, where he spent more than eight years and served as Director of Leasing. During his tenure, he played a key role in the leasing of several major redevelopment projects, including approximately 300,000 square feet at Pittsburgh’s Strip District Produce Terminal. He was also responsible for sourcing McCaffery’s acquisition of 1 West Grand in Chicago and leading leasing efforts for the property.

Throughout his career, Modjeska has completed transactions with a wide range of nationally recognized retailers and experiential concepts, including Sephora, Starbucks, Shake Shack, Equinox, Sweetgreen, Chase Bank, F-1 Arcade and City Winery, among others. He has also been actively involved in the leasing of Lincoln Common in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, contributing to a curated tenant mix that includes premier fitness, dining, and financial service operators.

In addition to landlord representation, Modjeska has advised tenants on both local and national requirements, representing brands such as Lovesac, H&H Bagels, and Sushi Taku. His experience also extends to investment sales, including the disposition of a 112,000-square-foot office asset at 231 South State Street in Chicago’s Loop.

Earlier in his career, Modjeska was with Robert K. Futterman & Associates (now part of Newmark), where he represented both landlords and tenants across a diverse set of retail and mixed-use assignments.

Modjeska earned his degree from Indiana University and is based in Chicago.
