Sharon Wilson Géno is the president of NMHC. She is a 30-year veteran of the housing industry, during which she has helped guide numerous for-profit, nonprofit and governmental entities around housing affordability, community development and other housing policy challenges.

Sharon most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS), the housing and healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization and one of the largest nonprofit affordable and mixed-income/mixed-use housing operators in the nation. VOANS operated 240 properties and nearly 13,000 units in over 40 states during her tenure.

She originally joined the organization as its Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs and provided advice and counsel to the organization on a wide variety of legal matters, including housing operations and housing development issues.

Before joining Volunteers of America, Sharon was a partner in a private practice in Washington DC, where she advised on housing and community development projects, government contracting, corporate structure, internal governance, and compliance with federal, state and local laws.

During her career, Sharon has served as both in-house counsel and outside General Counsel for various types of organizations. Her legal experience includes providing advice regarding government and non-government contracts, nonprofit organizations, corporate formation, litigation, employment law, tax law, and other topics. She has also taught courses on housing law and policy at The George Washington School of Law and Georgetown University.

She has also worked on legislation and advocacy efforts related to affordable housing programs on both the local and national levels. Sharon has a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Newcomb College of Tulane University.

As COO at Morgan Properties, Greg Curci is responsible for the operational and

financial performance of Morgan Properties’ portfolio of over 350 owned and operated multifamily

assets. Greg oversees Morgan Properties’ Asset Management and Property Management platforms in

addition to the organization’s Revenue Management, Project Management, Marketing, Ancillary

Income, and Talent Acquisition and Development teams. Greg is a member of Morgan Properties’

Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Morgan Properties in 2019, Greg was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating

Officer of Equus Capital Partners, LTD’s multifamily platform. In this position, he directly facilitated over

$3 billion of profitable apartment transactions and ground-up development projects, managed day-to-

day operations of the firm’s multifamily assets, and maximized asset performance through repositioning

and swift execution of both physical and operational value-add strategies.

Greg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Language and International Economics from

Connecticut College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance & Real Estate from

Pennsylvania State University. Greg lives in Philadelphia with his wife and three children.

Andrew Wittgen is the Executive Managing Director of Property Management for RangeWater Real Estate. In his role, he oversees the operational performance of the firm with a focus on business intelligence, strategic growth, and client relations.

Andrew’s diverse background includes over 25 years of experience with on-site management, property operations, construction management, acquisitions, and dispositions management. In his time at RangeWater, Andrew closed on the acquisition and disposition of over 10,000 units with a total capitalization of over $1.5 billion. He is also responsible for the successful execution of more than $75 million in exterior and interior renovations for properties in the firm’s portfolio.

Andrew joined RangeWater in 2010 after serving as Vice President of Operations in the for-sale housing division for a property management company specializing in condominium conversions and property management. In his first year at RangeWater, Andrew successfully launched the firm’s property management subsidiary and transitioned several assets from third-party to in-house management.

Andrew is an active member of National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), the Atlanta Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association, from which he earned his CAPS designation. He is a board member for Lassiter Lacrosse. A double major graduate of Indiana University, Andrew lives in Marietta with his wife, Kris, and children John, Joe, and Mallory.

Lesa has been an industry professional in the multifamily industry since 1987 and currently

holds the role of Division President, overseeing Avenue5’s portfolio operations for Southern

Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Southern California, Utah and Texas. Her experience covers a

diverse portfolio of assets, including lease-up communities and repositioned assets. Lesa

previously served as senior director of real estate at Greystar, senior vice president at

Riverstone Residential Group and regional vice president for Weidner Investments. Additionally,

Lesa acted as managing partner and President for Trillium Residential, where she directed the

overall operations of roughly 10,000 units in new and acquired properties. She has served on

the board of directors for the Arizona Multifamily Association since 2005 and served as the

chairwoman of the board for the organization in 2011. She currently sits on the association’s

board executive committee. Lesa is a member of Avenue’s executive team and joined the

company at its inception in 2015. Lesa holds a BA degree from Arizona State University and

holds an Arizona real estate broker’s license, and is Avenue5’s designated broker in Arizona.

Brett Gelsomino joined The NRP Group in 2025 as Senior Vice President of Development, and is responsible for NRP’s market rate development activity throughout the state of Florida.

Gelsomino brings extensive experience to his role. Prior to joining NRP, Gelsomino had been with ZOM Development for 14 years. He began his career as an Investment Analyst and ended his time with ZOM as Senior Vice President of Senior Living. As SVP of Senior Living, he was responsible for originating, capitalizing, and construction on $400 million new luxury senior living projects. During his time at ZOM, he collaborated with NRP on three developments. In 2022, Gelsomino started his own investment and development company which successfully entitled and closed on nearly 900 units.

Gelsomino is a state certified general contractor and real estate broker. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida. He is the incoming Chair of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Leadership Institute. Outside of work, Gelsomino is an Executive Board Member of Boy Scouts of America, Board of Trustees Member at First United Methodist Church Ft. Lauderdale, and a seaplane, single-engine, and multi-engine pilot with an advanced instructor certificate. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and daughter, Eliana.

Aaron Victorson, Executive Vice President, Sales & Revenue Operations at The Guarantors, brings 13 years of experience in marketing, sales and growth in the rental housing industry. He is focused on making the industry more accessible and affordable, while safeguarding and promoting the interests of property owners and operators. At Bozzuto, Victorson got a firsthand account of the difficulties facing prospective renters and leasing officers when it comes to obtaining quality residents. He holds a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, Digital Humanities and Online Publishing from George Washington University.
