Human resource consulting firm The Segal Group is moving its DC office a couple of blocks down the road, Bisnow has learned exclusively.

The firm will leave its 35-year home at The JBG Cos1920 N St NW and relocate to 1800 M St NW, where it will occupy a 29k SF space. Savills Studley is repping Segal during its move, which is planned to take place in early 2017.

“Our professionals are excited to move into the new building on M Street," Segal SVP and DC office leader Ron Merritt said in a release. "It’s important that we continue to have a presence for our clients in downtown Washington, and we appreciate Savills Studley’s guidance throughout the process.”

After Prudential Real Estate Investors repositioned 1800 M in 2013, it landed Berkeley Research Group for a 60k SF full-floor lease

A source tells Bisnow that Segal is the final tenant to move out of JBG's 1920 N St before the developer demolishes the building. JBG could not be reached for comment. JBG is reportedly planning to build a 155k SF office property in its place.
