Gould Property Co and Oxford Properties held a cocktail hour Wednesday night to celebrate the delivery of their 400k SF office building at 600 Massachusetts Ave NW.

We snapped Gould president Kingdon Gould (second from left) with Oxford's Neil Jacob, Jim Potoki and Blake Hutchinson.

The companies are also teaming up on the development of 900 New York Ave NW, a 620k SF office building that will be the final piece of CityCenter.

The leasing is being spearheaded by Cushman & Wakefield's Philip Thomas, who's shown on the right with CBRE's Scott Frankel.

The developers broke ground on spec, but then brought in Venable to occupy 245k SF. It also recently signed communications firm Brunswick Group for 22k SF.

Up in the second floor atrium, we found Oxford SVP Chris Mundy, right, with Quadrangle's Chris Gladstone, Elise Rabekoff and Oxford's Blake Hutchinson.

In addition to 600 Mass and 900 New York, Oxford has a 50% stake in 1001 G St NW and an interest in Gallery Place. Back in September, when Bisnow toured 600 Mass, Chris said these four East End investments are just the beginning of the Toronto-based developer's DC expansion.

"We'd like to grow more," Chris said at the time. "We're continuing to look all over the city.

We also found Cushman & Wakefield's executive managing director for the DC region, Peter Carroccio, on the left, with CBRE's Mark Klug.

Peter came over from CBRE in September after some top C&W brokers left for JLL

A couple of blocks up from Chinatown, the building welcomed some cultural festivities in the form of a golden dragon and accompanying music.

The building's amenities include a 20k SF indoor-outdoor rooftop terrace, a 10th floor terrace with a bocce court for Venable, a 4k SF fitness center and a 4k SF conference facility.
