The Wharf's First Four Buildings Have Topped Out

The Wharf's first four buildings will open to the public in less than a year, and this past weekend they reached their tallest heights

Clark Construction this weekend topped out the fourth of the buildings, Parcel 2, a 501-unit apartment building with Seth Hurwitz's 6,000-person music hall taking up the first five floors.

Parcel 2 joins the topped-out office building at 800 Maine, a residential/condominium building and The Wharf InterContinental Hotel in the Wharf's current skyline.

We snapped the construction's progress on Wednesday when PN Hoffman CEO Monty Hoffman announced the developer had signed law firm Fish & Richardson to 60k SF at 1000 Maine, the 250k SF office building that will open shortly after the first four parcels.

With the concrete work complete, Clark says it is focused on completing the buildings' envelopes and interiors and completing them by October. So far, the project has taken a cumulative 1.5 million man hours and 55,000 cubic yards of concrete.
