Hyatt has just unveiled the first Mid-Atlantic hotel to use its new brand targeted at younger travelers.

The hotel at 1325 Wilson Blvd in Rosslyn has been given a makeover and a new flag, Hyatt Centric, the Washington Business Journal reports. With the new brand, Hyatt is looking to step up its neighborhood engagement, use more locally sourced products, and attract younger business and leisure travelers.

The 318-room Rosslyn hotel, owned by Fortress Investment Group and managed by Highgate Hotels, lined its walls with art of Washington landmarks and outfitted the rooms and lobby with new furniture.

Hyatt is also rolling out the new brand in Philadelphia, where a new property being built by New York-based Hudson Hotels will feature a 12-story, 300-plus room Hyatt Centric. [WBJ]
