Korth Construction Defies Summer Slump With Slew Of Projects

Korth Construction recently completed three noteworthy projects, its team resisting the hot summer air that causes construction to stagnate and vacations that frequently set others in the industry behind schedule.

It wrapped a 20k SF corporate interior project for Senior Service America and finished renovations at The Center for Innovative GYN Care, updating a full-floor suite by imbuing it with a spa-like feel. Korth workers paid particular attention to the custom-furnished reception area and surrounding space that accommodates the offices and exam rooms required for specialty GYN care.

Perhaps most notably, Korth delivered a 20k SF rehab of the historic Blair Mansion Inn for Potter Violin (shown above and below) to house its large violin sale, trade-in and lessons operation. The pre-existing dinner theater was completely refurbished with a hand-stained, four-story staircase, a new roof with skylights, all new cedar siding, new drywall ceilings and specialty millwork to hold the delicate instruments.

Despite introducing all these new elements, the team was still able to retain the classic feel of the original structure. The owner enlisted Korth confident the company would preserve the historicity of the local landmark.

The Korth team is staying busy with plenty in the pipeline. Its works in progress at the moment consist of approximately $15M worth of interiors including several dialysis centers, spec suites, medical suites and common areas.
