View has secured $200M during its recent financing round, including funds from accounts managed by BlackRock.

Milpitas, California-based View offers electrochromic glass, which changes tint depending on the lighting. It has completed 350 installations across 20M SF of buildings and has 150 installments in progress. Its glass has been installed in office, healthcare, education, multifamily, residential and airport settings. In February, the company secured $100M in funding, which included $50M from TIAA Investments.

View was recently selected to install its product at San Francisco’s redeveloped Terminal 1. The airport plans to install 66K SF of View Dynamic Glass within the terminal. The glass also is being installed at SteelWave’s America Center in North San Jose.

Other smart glass companies also are having success in securing financing. Kinestral Technologies closed $65M in Series C funding in February.
