Alameda Chooses RiverRock As Alameda Point Property Manager

Alameda has chosen RiverRock Real Estate Group to manage the 1,500-acre former Naval Air Station, now called Alameda Point. The city will develop the area into 5.5M SF of commercial space and 1,425 homes on 878 acres, reports the San Francisco Business Times.

RiverRock will manage over 63 tenants within the office, industrial, research and residential real estate. The company manages Alameda’s Bridgeside Shopping Center at Tilden Way and Blanding Avenue. It manages over 28M SF in California and Arizona.

Major tenants at Alameda Point include USS Hornet Sea, the Air & Space Museum, Google-owned Makani Power and Tesla-owned Wrightspeed, according to the East Bay Times. [SFBT]
