Google Makes $58M Buy In San Bruno, Could Hint At YouTube Expansion

Google recently made a $58M office buy in San Bruno likely intended to support expansion of its YouTube subsidiary.

The 148k SF property at 1150 Bayhill Drive was sold by a JV of Canyon Catalyst Fund and Rubicon Point Partners, reports the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The duo paid $44.1M for the property in October 2014 and netted a gain of $13.9M with the Google buy.

This purchase comes after a massive office swap between Google and LinkedIn two weeks ago. [SVBJ]
