Developer Decides To Sell Parcel Rather Than Break Ground

It was to be a four-story residential building in Western SoMa, but now the parking lot at 915 Minna St is being sold before work starts. Equity Community Builders planned to break ground on the 46-unit project catering to Millennial tech workers but changed its mind.
The project was approved last month and fast-tracked, according to SocketSite. Equity Community Builders is now looking to sell the parcel instead. The motivation behind the change of heart remains unclear. [SS]
