Bradac Co. founder and CEO Amy Bradac has over two decades of experience in architecture and construction. After several years in architecture, she left to gain experience in design implementation and construction administration. Bisnow: How do you describe your job to people who are not in the industry?

Bradac: Bradac Co. helps teams design and build the spaces where people work, shop, heal, learn, rest and play. As owners’ reps, my team manages every discipline of a project from searching for space, designing it, building it, moving into it and support afterward.

Bisnow: What is the biggest business problem you have faced and how did you solve it?

Bradac: Expanding our client base and growing my team appropriately. It’s a work in progress.

Bisnow: What is one thing you think companies can do to address wage and gender inequality?

Bradac: As a starting point, hire a diverse team and pay everyone fairly. On top of that, allow for flexibility in schedule.

Bisnow: What piece of advice do you give others entering the industry?

Bradac: Strive to gain well-rounded experience. You never know where it will take you.

Bisnow: What do you do to unwind when you’re not working?

Bradac: Play ice hockey, explore San Francisco, spend time with family/friends, drink red wine.
