Brokerage firm Colliers International has picked a new head of its Greater Philadelphia region.

Timothy Pulte has been named senior executive vice president and will lead the company's industrial and office services in Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. Colliers announced the move Monday, although Pulte's LinkedIn page notes him as starting with the company in November.

Pulte was the chief operating officer of the Delaware River Port Authority from 2009 until a regime change in 2015 removed him from his post. Since then, he has been consulting under the company name Pulte Capital Advisors. He has also held leadership positions at Smith Mack, Pulte Homes and GMH Capital Partners.

Among Colliers' accounts is Callow East, the multi-building portfolio of former industrial and office buildings between Old City to the south, Northern Liberties to the north and the emerging Spring Arts to the west.

CORRECTION, JAN. 10, 3 P.M. ET: Pulte has been hired as Colliers' regional head of its office and industrial business lines. A previous headline on this story misstated his role. The headline has been updated.
