Not Just Books And Tuition: For College Students, Lack Of Affordable Housing Is A Big Issue

Ten years ago, Temple University Professor of Higher Education Policy and Sociology Sara Goldrick-Rab was conducting a series of interviews asking students about some of the pressing issues they were facing on college campuses.

She and her team thought it was just going to be a survey on the need for more financial aid and gripes about the cost of books and high tuition, but they uncovered something much more concerning. Major League Sports Teams Want CRE Ventures To Boost Non-Game Day Revenue

Some of the most popular sports franchises in the U.S. are trying on the hat of real estate developer to knock revenues out of the park. But, to be a success, they find teamwork in development is key.

To expand offseason vitality in the area around the arena — and to boost revenue — the company is partnering with Boston Properties on the 1.5M SF Hub on Causeway, a mixed-use development adjacent to the Garden and above the city's North Station.

Hurricane Michael Makes Landfall As Category 4 With Billions Of Dollars In Commercial Property In Its Path

By the time Carol Dover awoke at the crack of dawn Wednesday morning, Hurricane Michael had been upgraded to a Category 4 storm.

Dover, the CEO of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, had to load her horse in a trailer at the training facility in Destin, Florida, where she stayed Tuesday and flee back to her home in Tallahassee. It was not much better there.

“I don't remember one creeping [up] on us like this,” Dover told Bisnow from her Tallahassee home. "It was a 1, a 2 [category storm], then you wake up and it's a Category 4."
