May Multifamily Rent Growth Reaches Six-Year Low

Though May was the third consecutive month national multifamily rents increased, the rate at which rents grew continued to cool.

Apartment rents rose 1.5% in May, the lowest year-over-year increase in rent growth since 2011, according to Yardi Matrix's monthly survey of 121 markets.
