DC's Development Surge Is A Boon To Local Manufacturers

Placeholder

The current development boom in the DC area—and beyond—has been kind to Floors Etc., a luxury flooring provider that’s been around for more than 110 years and run by the same family for four generations.

“We continue to be extremely encouraged about the continued development in the Baltimore, Washington and Virginia regions, not only in multifamily but in education, office and retail as well,” says John Ginsburg, president of Floors Etc. John’s snapped above, center right, along with his wife, and the pair are flanked by IDG’s Krista Eliason on the left and Prince Charles on the right (yes, that Prince Charles).

Floors Etc. recently opened up a retail showroom in Georgetown, and is working on a number of big projects in and around DC. The luxury rentals at the Dock 79 apartments and AVA NoMa, as well as Georgetown’s new Thompson Athletic Center, are just a few of the flooring jobs they’ve got in the pipeline.

We're thrilled Floors Etc. has joined us as a sponsor of our Bisnow Beltway Bash, to be held on Monday, May 23, at 5:30pm at the Wynn's Intrigue Nightclub at ICSC RECon. We hope you'll join us. Register here!
