Bisnow Scoop: Monday Properties Is Moving to Madison Avenue

Placeholder

Monday Properties is moving out of its billion-dollar office today and tomorrow, 13 years after moving into 230 Park Ave (the Helmsley Building).

On Monday, the developer will call the 19th floor of 667 Madison Ave home, with The Hartz Group as its new landlord. Monday used to own the Helmsley but, along with partner Invesco, sold the building, which will be a little less occupied (for now), to RXR Realty for $1.2B. The building was Monday's last holding in Manhattan. According to its website, the company currently holds 10 buildings in Northern Virginia and one in Washington, DC.

Monday CEO and chairman Anthony Westreich sent an email confirming the move, which he expects to be complete when next week begins. Anthony is speaking at Bisnow's Office Leasing and Development conference next month.
