Jeff Schaffer  with Schaffer & Associates in Sandy Springs tells us his client, a private investor, purchased 30 North Ave.  The 9,000 SF commercial property, now with a restaurant on a short-term lease, was built in 1907 and used as Atlanta Firestation #11 until it was closed in recent years. The investor paid $2.1M with The Shopping Center Group's Mark Cooley representing the seller, GE Commercial Finance Business Property Corp. Jeff says he's marketing it to both restaurants and office users. Sadly, the property doesn't have a fireman's pole, that most sought after of amenities.
