Mad Dash Begins for Mad Ave Apartment Lotto

Ready. Set. Go! The NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development has just announced a lottery for 64 affordable units in a new JD Carisle-developed residential building at 160 Madison Ave. Pricing for the units range from $565 to $716 for a studio, $600 to $769 for a one bedroom, and $700 to $900 for a two bedroom. Eligible applicants must have an annual household income between $20,743 and $43,150, depending on the size of the unit and how many people are living in it, DNAInfo reports. The lucky winners will move into a 319-unit, 42-story residential building with a doorman, on-site laundry, fitness center, lounge, and outdoor space. The tower is expected to open by the end of this year. [DNAinfo]
