Brooklynites will soon have another option to fulfill their co-working space needs.

The Vault, a San Francisco-based co-working startup, is set to open its first New York City location. The company has signed on for 20k SF on the ground floor of 1000 Dean St in Crown Heights. The Vault currently has one location in the financial district of San Francisco and will cater to startup technology tenants at its new Brooklyn digs, with amenities including a 3D printer and a recording studio, according to Crain’s.

The co-working space has been and will continue to be dominated by industry giant WeWork, but The Vault points to the opportunity for smaller co-working providers. Earlier this year, WeWork signed on as the anchor tenant at Dock 72 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the $380M project from Boston Properties and Rudin Management. [Crain’s]
