As the advantages of tech’s influence on the industry have become increasingly clear, new tech companies continue to spring up, and leading CRE solutions providers are constantly boosting their offerings to remain competitive.

Such is the case for leasing and asset management platform VTS. The New York firm has ramped up its offerings to include new tools for data visualization to help commercial real estate professionals close deals faster, increase tenant retention and ultimately help landlords reduce downtime.

"VTS works with 80% of the top 10 commercial real estate firms in the world…they use our platform to manage their portfolios and we constantly listen to feedback about how data technology can be more useful for their day-to-day business strategy and needs,” VTS VP of business development Andrew Flint (pictured), tells Bisnow. “We recognized that going deeper on business intelligence tools would have an immediate impact on our customers.”

VTS’s new tools include premium portfolio analytics and premium custom reporting, in addition to a new iPad app that provides real-time insights for users. The firm’s clients include top Blackstone, CBRE, Hines, TIAA-CREF and Boston Properties, and the firm estimates the new tools will increase clientele and boost sales.

“The culture around data access and how it can be applied is currently changing in commercial real estate… [and] our innovation pipeline is full, both because of the demand for an asset management platform and because VTS constantly listens to its customers' needs,” Andrew says.
