WeWork opened the first location of its new retail concept in New York City this summer, and now it is planning an ambitious, nationwide expansion.

The coworking provider plans to open 500 WeMrkt stores in the next couple of years, WeWork Chief Brand Officer Julie Rice told Digiday

The concept was a reinvention of the Honesty Market self-serve snack stands WeWork opened in many of its coworking spaces. The WeMrkt stores carry food, beverages, office supplies, apparel and products from WeWork members. A WeWork panel of judges in April picked 10 member companies whose products would be featured in the store.

WeWork opened the first WeMrkt store at its 205 Hudson space in New York in June. It has since expanded to three more New York City locations. Rice, the founder of SoulCycle who joined WeWork in November, said the company is also planning an e-commerce store.
