Walmart will offer free shipping for all online orders starting June 11, and this deal will run for five days—just long enough to overlap with Amazon’s annual Prime Day event on July 12. Last year, the online giant made more in Prime Day sales than it made on Black Friday, and Walmart wants a piece of the pie, Fortune reports.

The retailer has been working to strengthen its e-commerce business for some time, especially since sales increased only 7% in the latest quarter compared to a 17% rise a year earlier. It has also launched a two-day shipping program, called ShippingPass, for an annual $49 fee. [Fortune]
