Guess Where Ivanka Trump Is Opening Her Newest Store

The Ivanka Trump brand has decided to open its first brick-and-mortar store
while retailers are struggling to survive.

The new boutique is slated to open this fall on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue in Trump Tower.

The fashion brand, which sells women’s clothing, shoes and purses, was dropped by Nordstrom six months ago amid reports it was not performing well, Business Insider reports. Other stores have since stopped selling the line of clothing and accessories.

Ivanka Trump had stepped down from the label a month prior to the Nordstrom divorce, rolling her proceeds into a trust overseen by her brother-in-law, Joshua Kushner, and sister-in-law, Nicole Meyer, but the separation was still seen as a political statement against President Donald Trump's administration rather than a business decision.

The brand came under fire recently after it was found to be linked to a Chinese factory that violated a number of labor laws, and paid workers less than $1 an hour in some cases, the Washington Post reports.

Trump Tower is the first and only brick-and-mortar location reported to be opening at this time.
