Flatbook Aims To Be the Airbnb of Subletting

Placeholder

Looking to hit the road this summer? Montreal-based startup Flatbook may be able to help with your rent and utilities while you’re away, provided you give them the keys and a few photos. The subletting service will push apartments as regular sublets and temporary stays for travelers, Curbed reports. Founder Lucas Pellan is hoping to build a “brand” by creating a network of apartments under a central company. A system of short-term leasing is also on tap as the company will use its own team of interior designers to set up and redecorate apartments in major cities. By the end of 2015, Flatbook is expected to be in 30 cities. [Curbed]
