World’s Largest Co-Living Tower Opens In London

NYC isn’t the only place co-living developments are hitting the market—the largest co-living tower in the world is about to open in London.

Old Oak is a brand new 11-story co-living tower with 550 units. It features furnished bedrooms, shared kitchens, a gym, a rooftop terrace and a spa, among other amenities, Curbed reports. The building will also house a public restaurant and a 400-desk co-working space, complementing the general co-vibe.

And that’s a vibe Millennials dig. Millennials are flocking to flexible workplaces, and why shouldn’t that trend spread to living arrangements? WeLive and others have already launched co-living residential buildings, but Old Oak is the first explicitly designed for co-living.

The rent is within reach of many Millennials as well—weekly rent is somewhere between $330 and 400, which includes taxes, internet, twice a month room cleaning and utilities. [Curbed]
