Trump said Apple CEO Tim Cook promised to build three big, beautiful plants, though further details regarding location and a potential delivery date were not disclosed.

“I said, 'You know Tim, unless you start building your plants in this country, I won’t consider my administration an economic success.' He called me, and said they are going forward,” Trump told the WSJ.

Trump has been pushing to keep manufacturing plants stateside to boost jobs. The president has taken to his Twitter podium on many occasions to chastise companies like General Motors and Mercedes-Benz for taking manufacturing facilities overseas.

Apple announced plans to create a $1B fund in May that will invest solely in companies expanding their manufacturing presence in the U.S. Already, the tech giant plans to commit $200M to glassmaker Corning Inc.
