Trump Plans To Lead An ‘Industrial Revolution’

Placeholder

On Thursday Donald Trump promised to lead a new Industrial Revolution at a rally in Cincinnati, the first stop on his “Thank You” tour following his presidential victory.

Part of that industrial revolution will be major changes to trade policy, national security, infrastructure, military spending and immigration, the Wall Street Journal reports. And Trump made it clear he’s planning to push ahead with his plans, even if doing so means moving forward without the support of Democrats or those that got him into office. "Now that you put me in this position, even if you don’t help me one bit, I’m going to get it done," the president-elect said.

Specifically, Trump says tax cuts, the removal of many government regulations, ending illegal immigration and rebuilding urban areas struggling with crime will fuel his revolution. [WSJ]
