WeWork Is Now Valued At $15B

WeWork is now worth $15B, climbing 50% after Fidelity Investments reported its WeWork shares rose 53% in Q4 2015.

This jump puts the co-working behemoth neck and neck with huge commercial landlords like Boston Properties, which is worth $17B yet owns 10 times the space, The Real Deal reports.

Despite the enormous gains, some investors worry the economic turmoil could hurt WeWork's tenants, which are largely tech startups. But WeWork has said it is confident its 40% profit margin (which excludes construction costs) will help it through any storms.

And, rather than cutting back, WeWork plans to aggressively expand into new cities in the US, India and China. As if that isn’t enough, WeWork's also unveiling WeLive, its new co-living dormitory venture. [TRD]
